Remarks :

A lot of good and bad (which ultimately are good) experiences. College life has taught me a lot. Nothing to share in public...:P

Entrance Preview :

IIT-JEE (AIR-2070 (OBC). I wanted only Mechanical Engineering and got it in IIT Indore. Rejected for all other exams and didnt even bothered to check AIEEE result. I didn't wanted to go to IIT but ended up there because of everyone said.

Internships Opportunities :

Internships were the most awesome experiences that I had in my college time. This helped me to know what I really like and who really I am. Entire time in my college used to go to search for a perfect internship. In Mechanical I was the one who got the highest stipend internship (INR 30,000) in Croatia. But in general CS people even got 60 K stipend. And even some had to pay to get an intern ship. So there is no general value.

Placement Experience :

I am sorry i wont be able to do justice with this question. I am the type of person who never bothers who got what. So no idea how many students got placed. It can be seen on website though. But what I remember people saying that our batch had a very good placement season. In mech., AVTEC, Mahindra, Tata, L&T etc. Came, just to name a few. Google, Microsoft and many more for CS.

College Events :

Same comment on this, I don't like places with a lot of noise and chaos so no idea of our college fest. People go crazy when I tell them that I have not attended a single day in 4 years to any of the event activities. :P But i think i have spent quality time meeting some wonderful people and doing some remarkable activities while the whole college used to get wasted. But for sake of answering the question, our annual fest 'FLUXUS' is the biggest in central India.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Our batch it was around 50K /semester, including everything (mess, hostel, etc) Our juniors around 70K And those with SC/ST quota, 20K Only Phew.. I know it hurts but it is how it is. :-\Also there is MCM scholarship which we can apply for. But that also do not do full justice as SC/ST students can also take it along with some rich family backgrounds guys by showing that they are poor.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

MCM is one to be named, given by IIT's. And there are a lot many available these days.

Campus Life :

I will not like to comment on this. As these question are way to complex to reach a trust able conclusion. What is awesome for me might not be worth looking for you. So it's just a matter of person's status and way of thinking.

Hostel Facilities :

4.5/5. We had one of the best hostel facility. We liked in bungalows as our permanent campus was still not ready.

External Expense : Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna :

It is poor. I must develop, and i think it will. As it's just 3 batch that have passed. But if to speak of all IIT's, then I think I need not to say that it is awesome.

Exam Structure :

It's neither easy nor though. Basically, unlike other universities, our faculties decide the course and they can also change it as per their wish. And they only make the papers so yes that's a advantage to both. Basically no mugging/theoretical papers. On
