Course Curriculum Overview :
The Department of Instrumentation and Control started in the year 1965 with the support of the Central Government. The Undergraduate and Postgraduate programmes offered by the department are accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA). The department boasts qualified, experienced and dedicated faculty to impart fundamental and applied knowledge in the field of Industrial Automation, Process Systems Engineering, Instrumentation Systems Engineering and Biomedical Instrumentation.
Internships Opportunities :
Yes, our college do provide internships. Sometimes we do get stipend and some times we do not. It all depends on company or institution in which you get internship. Some of the internship company or government institute, instead of giving stipends to the students they sponsor their B.Tech final year projects.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
Being a govt. college is an added advantage. Overall fees structure is is feasible to lower class to middle class. The college fees is 64,000 per year and the hostel fees is 20,000 per year.( for general category). So,it is very affordable. You will get many scholarship as well if you are good enough at studies.
Campus Life :
College of Engineering, Pune is known for having a vibrant campus life. Mind Spark is the annual technical festival of the college organised by the students. It is one of the biggest technical festivals in the country. With more than 70 colleges participating, Zest, one of the biggest sports fests in the country, is the annual sports festival of COEP.
Admission :
COEP is amongst the most competitive colleges when it comes to the admissions. Admissions are usually held in the months of June-July for graduation and under-graduation courses. Admissions to COEP are strictly based on merit only.I got admission through CAP round.
