Remarks :

I appeared for the entrance exam MHCET LAW. I chose Pune University for its ranking and academic curriculum. I got through Balaji Law College through the entrance. The admission procedure is really simple. All you need is necessary documents for the completion of the admission procedure which is mentioned in detail on the entrance website. The admission is based on CAP rounds. Some of the major aspects of Balaji Law College are its high-quality education, campus life and overall holistic development of aspiring lawyers. I came across this college through its official website and collegedunia.com.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Sri Balaji Society's Balaji Law College provides courses for B.A.LL.B, LL.B and DIPLOMA IN TAXATION LAW. I chose to pursue a Bachelors Degree in Law i.e. B.A.LL.B. This College has experienced faculty, visiting faculty and various Guest Lecturers for effective learning. The quality of education is high as not only the syllabus is covered but also various activities such as debates, moot courts, research paper writing competitions etc are conducted. Exams are conducted regularly. The Exam Papers are a little difficult as the Pune University sets the paper for all the semester examinations. The College Library is huge and has all the necessary books needed. You don't have to buy books, the college issues books/digests for each semester.

Internships Opportunities :

Balaji Law College offers internship opportunities to develop and learn various practical provisions of law. Some of the firms where students have interned are Law Chambers of Siddhart Muraka, Law Beacons, KRY Legal, Trulex, Mulla and Mulla Craigie Blunt & Caroe etc.

Placement Experience :

Students after 3rd year have Winter Internships available and have campus placements monitored by the placement cell. Some of the companies which have visited for campus placements are Trilegal, Mulla and Mulla, RK Dewan, Law Beacons etc The Placement Cell organised a seminar on recruitment, training sessions for interviews, group discussions, written examinations and much more.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee structure is Rs 22,850 for B.A.LL.B 1st Year. For a Law Degree in Maharashtra, the fee is apt and less expensive. The admission process is through entrance exam MHCET Law so there is no scholarship available.

Campus Life :

Campus Life is the best. We have our cultural college fest every year in February called AMIGO. We, the students organise various events depending upon different cells and their respective jobs. Students are selected in Various Cells such as Extra-Curricular Cell, Moot Court Cell, Placement Cell, Student Engagement and Support Cell, Legal Aid Cell, NSS Unit. We also participate in various other college fests, sports events etc. We celebrate Ganesh Utsav, Janmashtami, Constitutional Day, Human Rights Day and all sorts of Cultural Programs. Library of BLC is considered as the heart and soul of knowledge. It is well maintained and equipped. BLC has a Moot Court, Cyber Room, Projectors in every classroom, sports equipment and much more. The attendance should be 75% and above. Monthly Attendance Record is delivered at your home. The College has beautiful Infrastructure, it has an Auditorium, Sports ground, Canteen, Parking lot.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course covers all the relevant subjects of law. One can pursue advocacy in either civil or criminal side as the course covers both the topics very well. The teaching method is from books and by using power point presentation. The exams are held on a timely basis and are medium to hard in difficulty level.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The syllabus for teaches us the knowledge required to be a part of the law fraternity. But the actual applicability of the syllabus can be seen as different from what is taught in the curriculum. Practical knowledge of what is taught needs to be done

After 8th semester students become eligible for the placements. Basically it is the field of skill set. If one has that skills of a good lawyer he or she must be settled anyhow. Around 60 percent student gets placed evey year. The highest package is of around 10 lakhs and average if of 3 to 4 lakhs.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the course 8/10 aa course is highly good for me and i chose this field because of the respect it have our curriculum is good only as first 2 years we have BLS subjects then we have law subjects after that. As it is an integrated course it surely serves the purpose and makes you ready for real-life field only but as we have 75-25 pattern it gets hard to write that much in the examination in that much hour also we have to prepare for internals alot then assignment costs alot of time and make the whole study schedule hectic

Placement Experience:

The placements are provided by the university based on merit to the students of the undergraduate honours batch and bba batch. The same facility is not available for the adjudication and justice batch for obvious reasons. However, the university facilitates them by supporting internships of judicial nature and other internships too.
