Remarks :

Good placement for all the students, most of the students graduate from the college landing two jobs and overall the college has good faculty and laboratories. The camus is quiet big with a huge playground. One must be quiet disciplined to survive the college environment for for years, because that parameter is must in this college.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The college gives ample exposure to the students about industry, the faculties are quiet friendly and helpful. Some of the mentions are prof. Supriya Sengupta, dr. Prasun Chaudhury, prof. Rabindranath Ghosh, prof. Rabindranath Dutta, Ankush Chattopadhyay.

Class Size : 10Course Fees : INR 400000 per year

Placement Experience :

The placement offered by this college is on point. The placement process is conducted in a smooth and well organized way. There are several mock interviews organized by the college where the interviewers are invited from eminent companies. The college provide a paid program to prepare the students for the interview and aptitude rounds. Those are really helpful. Some of the companies that recruted in mass are Cognizant, Infosys others like Wipro and Indisnet.

College Events :

The college organise in campus sports competition comprising the members of different departments every year. The college also organise a Tech fest "Shrey" which is inter college, and a very small cultural fest, with members only from within the college.

Campus Life :

Campus has a big play ground, two common rooms, a big library and the laboratories are well equipped with instruments required for the course. The campus also has wifi which is granted for access for purposeful work. You can't download games and movies randomly.

Overall a Standard College; have parallels to its parent college FIEM

Placement Experience:

At the end of the 6th Semester many MNCs and startups like CTS, TCS, Virtusa, Wipro, etc visit our campus for internship opportunities as well as pre-placement offers. Most of the students do crack some or other internship opportunities and get in-hand industry experience. For our batch the highest offer we received is 7LPA and the average package ranges at about 4.5 - 3.5LPA ! Almost everyone does get placed, but the average ranges at about 70%-80%.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placements after the 2nd Semester. HCL, OYO, HDFC Bank, Axis Bank, Dabur, ITC, BYJUs, etc. are brands that visit our college. The highest package was offered 9 LPA by OYO and the average package is somewhat around 4.5LPA. 80% of students are able to crack placements from our college. I am actually looking for an FMCG company after the degree from campus placements.

Distance education in nutrition

Remarks:

The college is a very old and well known one in West Bengal and being a part of the university has helped me learn the reason behind it. The staff and faculties of the college are so helpful and nice that it would be dream to a part of this institution.

Admission:

For the admission process I had to register on the official website and then check out the details of the course along with the eligibility criteria and the fee structure. After this I filled in my details and got a registration number and password through which I could log in and fill up the application form and make the application fee payment along with the first course fee.
