Manjunath Raikar 's Review On BMS College Of Engineering - [BMSCE], Bangalore

Remarks :

Overall a good college but need more good professors which think about students future.

Entrance Preview :

I had chosen vishveswaraya technological university as my first priority but I got higher marks and got qualified for BMS college which is one amongst the top college.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Need much more improvement in all the fields or streams they are dealing with, need more advanced equipment's maintenance is ok. Need some extra equipment's in laboratory. Elective subjects are good but it depends on majority.. whichever subject is chosen as majority is chosen for all.

Internships Opportunities :

No. I don't have idea about it may be they provide for Ph.D students but not sure about this should inquire with the college for this information.

Placement Experience :

Yes this is one of the biggest problem but no the placement depends from years to years sometimes there will be good campus but sometimes it is very poor. Again we have to struggle for it if its our bad luck we have to extra courses and wait till the placement.

College Events :

Every year there are plenty of events or functions celebrated in our college which is one of the best thing function such as talent expo and many other things which make students to explore their talents and there by they improve personal ethics.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Fee structure is feasible if you get a good rank in the CET and your overall ranking is considerably more than no one can stop you from getting seat through CET rank and for the rest of the years there will be no issues if its an management seat then it can become costly.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

No I haven't availed any loan or any other kind of stuff since i got good rank and my fee was also good to stay in room not in hostel.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel facilities are comparatively good compared to other college such as my previous but the food are as usual. Home food is always much better than other food. We used to go out often to eat food i hate the hostel food smell at the first time its okay but later its worst.

Alumni/Alumna :

Each of college has a alumni association which is created for students job welfare but it hardly helps students in seeking jobs i didn't find it helpful at any instant.

Exam Structure :

Its depends on the type of exam or lab we are attending if lab then mainly on supervisor who is in charge of it subject also matters a lot if its a tough subject then we have to struggle to pass because there is no chance of copying others papers.

Admission :

Got good rank in CET and I got the college which i kept in first priority. Visited the college permissive overall had a good experience in my life. One of the best college but need some advancements office staff are good expect one which i hated rest all staff are good.

Faculty :

Some of the faculty are strong enough in their field of teaching but they show attitude which is not desired by any student. Students expect friendly lecturers which impart good knowledge to their students for their bright future. Instead they show attitude.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible to get placements from their 6th to 7th semester as whatever basic is needed by them to a company is embedded into them. Amazon, Microsoft, Google, Cisco, and many other companies visit our college and make many offers. The highest package in my course was 47 L.P.A previous year and average is 7 to 8 L.P.A. Almost all students get placed in our branch almost every year. I just wanna do a start-up after completion of my course and getting my degree.
