One of the best college in kerala

Remarks :

Ragging free campus and good academice performance

Course Curriculum Overview :

Assessment. When the students come back together they can present their findings and prove that they know what they learned. It teaches them new curriculum they may not have thought of. The curriculum can be taught in a hands on way in a social environment with other children.

Placement Experience :

Campus placements are conducted in every year and almost half of the studentd get placement except mechanical and civil. Most of the companies comng for placement is IT companies.

College Events :

There are lot of events arr conducted in our college. "Freshers party" for freshers, "final year day" is a farewell for last year students, anual day, anual meet, technical festival etc. And also there will be "batch day" conducted by every batch on the anniversary of their joining day of college

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The fee structure is very feasible. Our college is a government college. So the fees are very feasible compared to the nongovernmental colleges. Nearly 6000 is required as the college fee for a sem. And hostel fee is also very low, between 2500 & 3500.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

I take education loan for my hostel fee. College facilities provide me documents required for the educstion loan. Also there are scholarships for students and college office is realt helpfull and inform student about the scholarships.

Campus Life :

Campus life is so good one. Almost 50:50 is the gender ratio except mechanical branch. The college have a lot of place so the colege campus is green and there are little parks which are developed by every department. In short, A good campus with green.

Hostel Facilities :

Yes. There are 2 blocks and nearly 150+ rooms total in the college hostel. Room is shared by 4 students. Almost every students other than the first year students get the college hostel. For first year students ther are few seats which is for students from long distance and sc/st

Alumni/Alumna :

Yes. They help a lot for the campus placement and they are really support mentally and financially.

Admission :

It is a government college. Im from calicut so the college is not far crom my location. Heared good opinion from previous students and no ragging in the campus or i the hostel. So i decided to choose government college of engineering, kannur (GCEK).

Faculty :

The facilities are extremely good and they are very helpful and supportive except few facilities. Most of the favilities are highly supportive for the innovations and experiments and cultural activites also. And the provided special classes for the students who are not good in academic

The students become eligible for the campus placements in the 6th semester. The average students getting placed in the mechanical department are about 30%. My plan after completing my mechanical engineering degree is to go for masters in business administration

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum contains a vast area of nursing aspects and they include OSKI as a new component of the nursing curriculum which prepares as well enough to face the job interviews ahead. But the time limit is so short that we find it difficult to complete the syllabus on time. As the syallabus has changed to semester system we are expected to write exams more frequently but that is good as it helps as to improve our writing skills.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Architecture is a tough and time taking course, the syllabus fine in the first three years but later on it becomes hectic. Maybe the syllabus can be reduced and I feel that five years is too long for architecture degree.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course mainly because of the job opportunities. There is plenty of teaching and non-teaching staff in the college. All the teaching staff has Mastered nursing and all are very talented teachers. The teaching method is lecturing and av aids are also used by the teachers like projectors. The exams are conducted after the completion of each unit. It's an average tough exam to score good marks. The only problem is that exams will be conducted daily and the personal behavior of some staff may vary from person to person.

I also planned to join LLM at central University or in Canada. In Canada there are many opportunities for LLB graduates.
