Course Curriculum Overview :

Yes. The academic course is well defined and focuses on effective learning along with overall development of personality of students. Knowledge and experience sharing is also done by faculties. All the faculties are very nice, helping, understanding and Supportive. Sports and Cultural activities are also carried out. Overall the college is best and life there is amazing and abundant learning gained.

Placement Experience :

There is a placement cell at my college. They provide each and every student internship as well as job. There are also mock interviews arranged for students. We get to learn and explore many new different things.

College Events :

We Students, Staff , Teaching and Non teaching staff , HOD, Vice chancellor and all of us Celebrate many festivals , events , occasions such as Independence day Scientist day Republic day Dr.Babasaheb Ambedkar Jayanti Holi Christmas Dussehra Diwali Sports day Teachers day Cultural day Traditional day Rakshabandhan Friendship day Children's day Pharmacist day Eid Baisakhi Makar Sankranti Bhaubeej Engineers day Women's day Freshers and Farewell Convocations Singing and dancing Competitions.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Fees are reasonable and affordable to us students as we get a scholarship also from the government. Normally, our college fees is upto 2 lakh rupees for both the years(Academic course).We can pay in installments also. College also gives financial assistance to the Below Poverty Line students. Donation seats are not allowed in our college.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Yes. I have qualified Gpat exam AIR 4933. So, from the government, I get every month 12400 rs as a stipend. I have not applied for any education loan. Eligibility criteria was that I am a SC category student. Caste certificate and Caste Validity Certificate is mandatory.

Campus Life :

Gender equality is ofcourse maintained strictly in our college. Though female candidates are more in number. But for certain courses of engineering, boys are more than girls. In pharmacy, girls are many. PhD students i.e. mostly are women candidates and all are married. There is no gender discrimination in our college. If there happens, there is a commitee for the readdressal of any issues.

Alumni/Alumna :

Yes, our seniors are helping Understanding and coperative. They help us as well as we also help them in Research.We had interaction with our alumni also. Wonderful all are , they shared with us their experiences and knowledge. They also tell us dos and don'ts of college and about every faculty. We enjoy their company whenever they meet us.

Admission :

Merit list and Caste Category as well as Gpat Rank. Admission procedure is application form online from official website of college fees applicable Rs 500 and then college admissions round. M tech course admissions are merit list as well as entrance exams. Admissions for PhD student are based on Entrance exams, interviews and fellowship.

Faculty :

Faculties are very nice. Supportive, encouraging,motivating and inspiring team of teachers as well as researchers. We students are very lucky that we have such a great faculty team. They are conducting interactive lectures at college as well as offline video online lectures.They helps us solve problems at profeesional and personal level also.

Placement Experience:

In our branch students were eligible from the 5th semester for campus interviews one company visited the campus named ThoughtWorks which provided the students with a package of 8 lpa which was great and also training of around 18 months with a good stipend for non-tech branches there are much more opportunities.

Remarks:

No entrance exams are needed to take admission in SP college, Chandrapur. Students doing plain 11th - 12th have the best opportunity for their career as they have to score good marks in 12th boards.

SP college, Chandrapur ranks average in case of placements. As less companies come for the placements. Students are placet at Infosys and Wipro.

Entrance Preview:

BVPCOE entrance exam i got 187 rank and took mechanical engineering and choose this college because i wanted this course only.

Placement Experience:

For mechanical not many companies came for placement but for other branches like CS, IT, E & TC there is good placement giving pakages from 3-4 lakhs .
