Remarks :

I chose this College because of the place where the College is situated ....it is not in the middle of the city but at convenient distance from city.... admission process are not that hard

Course Curriculum Overview :

Computer Science Engineering is particularly wat I find interesting....the teaching staff is not bad...but the administration staff ...their attitude is just unbearable....exams and stuff are not that difficult but not so easy either

Class Size : 40Course Fees : INR 35000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

various companies have offered internships...now start ups are also offering this.it is a great opportunity for a budding engineer to know all the inner workings of a start up for future reference and also helps in gaining knowledge about it.. offers works in marketing ,data processing and handling etc

Placement Experience :

only final year students who have cleared all supplymentry exams can apply for campus placement...many companies visit the College like TCS,infosys ,Wipro and many more... placement percentage is about 15%...

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

merit seat Costs about 35k management about 70k and NRI about 1 lakh. a wide range of scholarship schemes are available according to the qualifications of the applicant

Campus Life :

the techno cultural feats and various celebrations of the College are nothing short of amazing.....it was probably the best tym of my life.. classroom facilities are moderate sports facilities are also moderate..but we make do with what we get numerous clubs, groups and political student bodies operate in the College like NSS , SFI, IEEE and many others

Hostel Facilities :

there are many hostels operating under the control of PTA but it is scattered around the College area. food quality is fairly good and living conditions are pretty good there is a new ladies hostel being opened its really good and very affordable.

Hostel Fee : INR 54000 per year

Interview Experience :

there was no group discussions or interviews for the admission. criteria for admission are based on marks and reservation categories.

NIT Cailcut-The Good,Bad and the Ugly

Placement Experience:

Students can apply for campus placements by the beginning of the 4th year.High paying companies are attracted by the placement cell which offer good packages to the students. The average packages for the circuital branch are pretty high. Each year about 200 companies are invited. The highest package for Electrical and Electronics has gone upto 38LPA with average package of about 14LPA in the graduation year 2024.About 128 students had registered out of which 120 students were placed.The minimum salary offered was 5LPA.

Is engineering here worth it?

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from 7th semester to sit for interviews. The pod.ai app helps us in making the resume and calculating a cgpa to appear for the intwrviews. The pod.ai registration fees is 500?. Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA
