Remarks

A number of reasons made me choose this college. 1)This college is a reputed one. 2) Travelling to college is easy (moderately close to the station). 3) Active councils which conduct activities all year round(technical as well as non technical). 4)Has a library having fair amount of books. 5) Has a huge campus with a lot of greenery which can make you feel calm. (I personally like to study at calm places. P. S. There is a beach nearby which make you feel calm too) 6) Has a canteen and a stationary, photocopy shop on campus also has one stationary and one photocopy shop right outside the campus. 7)Is an all girls college.

Course Curriculum Overview

I'm from B. Tech computer science department the syllabus is AICTE approved so it is up to date. The industrial exposure I have got is from our industrial visit. Apart from that the councils always share internship opportunities with the students. I am just acquainted with the first year faculties and the ones I have got are super nice.

Placement Experience

3.5

I have heard that esteemed companies like Barclays, Deutsche etc visit for campus placement in our college. Some of these even have an internship program.

College Events

4.5

There are a total of 6 fests 1) College fest arcanes is a big scale event where participants from many colleges attend and participate. The buzz of this event starts with the present days. 2) Technical councils IEEE, CSI and ACM of the college chapter hold 1 tests each in one academic year these tests are filled with technical as well as non technical events like coding, blind coding, technical paper presentation, fun events, class events, laser tag, treasure hunt across 3 stations etc. Apart from these they also hold workshop relating to current technology all year round. 3) E-Cell is a non technical council. The Entrepreneurship Cell, as the name suggests, deals with business and how you can convert your idea into business. In their fest they give you the opportunity of presenting your idea to investors. Apart from this there are many business related and fun events this council conducts in their fest. Like the technical councils they too conduct many workshops throughout the year. 4) The sports council holds a week long fest in which the students as well as faculties participate. There are class events as well as individual events. This week is a really active week. Participating in these events helps a person develop sportsmanship, team work, feeling of unity among the classes.

Campus Life

The campus is very huge with a lots of greenery. The size of the library of moderate. The equipments of the lab are not brand new but work fine. Though it would help if the number of equipments would be more.
