Remarks :
The college is one of the most prestigious colleges in the country with great rankings. The college houses not just students from India but also from other countries like Afghanistan. The staff is well known for their professional qualifications and also the well planned academic schedule of the college helps the students in achieving their goals. The extra curricular activities are great as well. Various societies to join and make new friends. Infact, most university position holders are from Sd College.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum is perfectly well balanced with the various subjects taught. The schedule may be a little rigorous at first but then getting used to it is easy since mostly, we get Saturday off. Also, it becomes easy for students talking coachings along with B. Com. to continue with their intrests. The commerce and management department is famous for the results and the fest it organizes. The practical experience could be a little more better yet, nonetheless the class atmosphere overall and teachers make learning fun.
Internships Opportunities :
I am currently working as a Campus Ambassador for E-Cell, IIT Bombay which I scored through Internshala. The aim is to connect and socialize. Spread the word all over the country about events organized.
Placement Experience :
The recruiters include huge brands like Google, Dell, IBM, Airtel, Cipla etc. The placement cell isn't very active in internships but it's quite involved in the post graduation. There are time to time seminars and discussion panels on how to help students get jobs in this competitive world.
College Events :
The first introduction to college begins with freshers which coincides with the election time in the college. It makes it all the more interesting to engage in college activities and make seniors, friends. The inter-colleges fest are fun and during the months of February and March, the college begins organizing it's own fest where there's huge gatherings of students and every student can participate after giving interviews and getting selected. There are departmental fests organized. The college's Enactus Team is selected to compete with the other colleges at National Level this year.
Campus Life :
The campus infrastructure is well maintained. The library is huge with every subject book available. There's a reading room where you can operate your devices to work on assignments and stuff. The labs are big enough to teach the entire class.
