Remarks :

The institute assures discipline and it is absolutely free from politics and it is one of the top girls college of kolkata. It also assures good infrastructure, big library and a large auditorium, two canteens and a big playground. This college also made facilities for career counselling and psychological counselling which attracted me the most.

Course Curriculum Overview :

All faculties are quite good according to me. But i think science departments are the best compared to arts because it provides very big labs and good instruments for conducting various experiments. Arts department teachers are really very talented they not only refer good books but also provide the best study materials for us, which helped me a lot.

Class Size : 26Course Fees : INR 2000 per year

Placement Experience :

Placements and job opportunities are quite good but campussing does not take place in our college. One has to find their own job. But our college provides students best results which will help a student to get job easily in any discipline.

College Events :

The campus life is excellent, teachers are very friendly and helpful and are very active in organising any kind of events in our college. Every year our college celebrates all the cultural events and festivals of bengal. For eg- rabindra jayanti, bhasa diwas etc. This campus also ensures career counselling and psychological counselling every year.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Our college provides many scholarships which really helps the students a lot in continuing their education especially who are financially not stable.

Campus Life :

The campus is good in fact it is improving more now, we have a big playground in front of our college campus where sports are held every year. Wi-Fi connection is not very good. The campus is surrounded with big trees and beautiful flower pots which enhances the campus beauty to a greater extent. The college consist of a big library and a large auditorium and both are full air - conditioned. The most important factor of this college is that it is absolutely free from ragging and politics.

From the 6th semester, the students are eligible. TCS, Cognizant, Capgemini, Accenture, Infosys, BYJUS. And many others Highest 10lpa, an average of 3.5 LPA. 75%-80% of students get placed in various companies. Get a good job in a company and be successful.

Remarks:

The infrastructure of this college is under development. One should not expect much facilities here because the college was established in 2016 and the first batch has not passed out yet. The laboratories are not up to the mark as there are less number of instruments. However there is a central library which is pretty good. There are projectors in most of the classrooms. The thing one can appreciate here is the cleanliness, whether in the classrooms or in the hostels or in the canteen.

Placement Experience:

As I wrote earlier, the first batch has not passed out yet. There is no placement officer in our college. A few students from here secured off-campus placements. But most of those went to CSE and ECE. The highest salary package offered was 1.3 crore which went to CSE.

Remarks:

First of all i liked the discipline of the college. And its student friendly environment. And the most that i like in this college is the friendly behaviour from the faculty as well as the non teaching staff. I love our college library. And love to spend time in the library studying books or even studying online through college computers. Overall the study environment is also very good.

I always dreamt of going to Xaviers. ItÕs such a good college. One of the best in our state. Being a Xavierian opened quite a lot of doors in my career. It helped me shape who I am today. Extremely good environment and great teachers. Lots of co curricular activists.

Well I didnÕt sit for college placement as I wanted to move to a new city. But as far as I know, companies provide jobs within the city that is in Kolkata itself. Out of state placement doesnÕt really happen.

The course I have opted for has one of the best faculties in this college over West Bengal. We have 2 Ieee student society in this college in which students can easily be part of and enhance their skills. The placement cell of our college is highly reputed as they always bring in the best companies for campussing. (Including core companies). We have excellent lab facilities where we can work upon our projects. From this college numerous students have participated in hackathons( including national levels) and bagged prestigious positions. We have an MHRD facilitated research lab.

I took WBJEE, it is the state level examination conducted by the West Bengal University of Technology. I scored a rank of 14373 in that entrance exam. I opted this particular college because after getting the rank.

Every year college calls MNC companies for placements in our college campus and also send us to other college for the pool campus. The first company which comes to our college is Tata Consultancy Service who took around 100 students with a package of 3.25 LPA.
