1) Syllabus was according to current all india standard of MCI 2) It was a very busy hospital with extremely high patient load, so practical exposure was always good. All kind of rare to rare cases were there for us to learn from. 3) Most faculties were caring and attentive to students. Yearly college festival " Mitali", later renamed as " Ecstasy " took place on the month of September. It used to be pretty good 4 day experience. Students participated in song, dance, drama, art, debate, fashion, gaming, quiz and all sorts of activities. Guest performance by well known artists were highlights.

We had a huge playground in front of hostel, Hostel had a gym, Table tennis room. College common room had a table tennis board. Library was huge with seating capacity of no less than 150. Pharma, patho, biochemistry, physiology, microbiology labs were well equipped.

5 storied hostel building with 4 wings and 130 rooms were provided for male undergraduate students. Each room had 4 boarder. Rooms were adequately large and well ventilated. Fooding was available from 2 hostel kitchens, one for breakfast and snacks, and one for lunch and dinner.
