Remarks :

First of all I wanted to go to IIT BHU or IIT Kharagpur only because of its entrepreneurial culture. Also the placement percentage at IIT BHU is one of the best in the country. In the year 2016 it had over 99% placement and that too in good companies. The alumni network of IIT BHU is the widest amongst any IIT and I have seen and experienced it being a part of this college. Some international competitions like the HULT PRIZE is conducted here .

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum here at IIT BHU is dynamic. I myself have experienced changes in curriculum from past years in a good way. The academics and faculties part is also nice. I have heard that at other IITs only slides from PPTs are being displayed but here still green boards are used which according to me is nice because teachers have to write things on board and many concepts gets cleared in class itself if someone pays attention. Some professors are very friendly and one can build good relationship with them.

Class Size : 155Course Fees : INR 850800 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Part time Content writer for Learnwizz. Stipend- Rs 350 per chapter

Placement Experience :

Mostly the companies which visit are of software profile like Microsoft,Amazon, flipkart,Phonepe, Oracle. Also companies for analysts, consultancy, product managers comes in large numbers. HUL comes for chemical and mechanical students. Tata Steel also comes for Metallurgy and Material Science engineers. Seniors generally says that placements are nice because of the big alumni network of IIT BHU.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

I have availed a scholarship from LPU by giving an examination LPU NEST and I secured AIR 31 in that so they gave me a study grant of Rs 2 lacs to pay fees. If someone was at NITs they gave 1 lac to them in the name of study grant.

Campus Life :

The campus is fully WiFi ed and on LAN connection one can even experience a speed upto 1.5 Gbps (yes it's true) .The downloading speed is generally more than uploading speed. There is a central library which is partially Air conditioned and new buildings for library are under construction. One can find almost every literature in thee library ranging from some very nice hand written science books and also they are very expensive. Labs are having old equipments and also very dull. Some equipments in mechanical engineering labs are really very old. But there is a technical activity center where new equipments are present and lab assistants helps there also so if we have any personal project there is no problem.

Hostel Facilities :

There a total of 16 hostels with some new being constructed.Everybody in UG gets hostel. Some Mtech and PHDs only gets hostel due to shortage of rooms.Almost Rs 5500 is yearly fees for hostels. All hostels are nice and good in terms of mess cleanliness. But rooms are very small and in first year mostly Aryabhatta hostel is being alloted in which 3 students have to stay and it is very clumsy . Definitely friendship grows but initially it is difficult to adjust and hostel administration does not allow change of rooms.

The Campus life

Placement Experience:

Placement of the college is decent highest package was 30 lac per annum and average is 6-7 lac per annum....From 6th semester u are eligible for the campus placements.... companies that visited are- IBM, TCS,etc I just don't remember now there are many... percent of students getting placements are near about 80% i guess

Placement Experience:

The placement is very good in my college. From the 7th semester, the students become eligible for campus placements. Many companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Mahindra etc do visit my college. The highest package is 16 lacs per annum and the average package is 4 lacs per annum. 95 % of students of the batch get placement every year. My plan is to get a placement in a product-based company after completing my degree.

Admission process was very simple. admission councellor was very helpfull. the online degree has same credibility as offline one. got admission on 3 july and was given course access on 27 july recieved books on 6 august very good book quality. job fair after every semester. time flexible course perfect for working and studying at the same time. the teacher's could be better but not a big issue as self study is sufficient for my course.

Admission:

there was no group discussion, interview, or written test for the admission. admission was based simply on basis of 12 class percentage. if you dont have your marksheet at the time of applying like me then you can sign a undertaking and they will grant you admission.

I've fill the online application for the admission then I got for the entrance examination afterwards councelling session is conducted and I've got addmission in the MBA. Application form is out in the month of june and July and the exams is conducted on August.
