Remarks :
I love my college. I will always miss the campus and my college life.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course is imparted by professional lecturers.Exam structure is as per the Maharashtra state board requirement. Now they have good placement facility too which was missing during our times. I guess even internship are available now. It helps in career development is well recognized in the job market.
Placement Experience :
i have not availed any as it was not available at our times for B.com course. we did not have the internship or placement facility
College Events :
symphony and many other inter college events. Sports and other extra Curricular activities were conducted throughout the year. all events are very well organised and every student is eager to attend them. due to the huge campus all actvities can be organised well.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
It is feasible structure during our time. Iam not sure about the latest fee structure for the course. there are no additional fee to be paid for admission if you are selected on merit basis. you need to play the library fee and other activities fee as and when required.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
I did not opt for any scholarship or loan facility as it was not required for me. there maybe options which iam not sure as it is a trust college.
Campus Life :
The campus life is amazing and lot of social and Extra curricular activities. there is no gender biased it is gender equal. due to huge halls and grounds we could play all sports events well. there are lot of events such as cricket, fashion shows, elocution,debates, performances throughout the year
Hostel Facilities :
I stay in Mumbai hence this facility was not required for me. iam not sure about the fee and facility. i have no idea how can i give details on this question. you should keep an option to skip this question if someone has not opted for this.
Alumni/Alumna :
We have a alumni get together. also some linkedin and Facebook groups for alumni networks are on social media active.
Admission :
I had applied through college form and shortlisted by college list based on academics score. Somaiya is a one of the top colleges in my area and that is why i opted for it. It has a huge campus and many options even for masters course. the coffee shop and canteen facility is good and provides hygiene food.
Faculty :
We used to have 6-7 lecture in a day each for half an hour in classroom, faculties were later available for queries too. there were very helpful. The lectures were as as per the academic curricular. they follow industry standards. Full time classroom training is really helpful.
