Remarks :

ILNU has decent faculties and really good infrastructure. It can be said with conviction that the college is either average or above average in every aspect. In that, the average aspects are online resources, senior faculties, classroom strength, and placement cell, whereas the above average aspects are library, supportive seniors, and helpful faculties.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Faculty. Many say that the college doesn't have senior faculties but to me, this has never been a problem. There are two faculties for every subject & in all the cases, at least one of the two is quite good. The college is quite selective when it comes to recruitment of faculties & students get a say in the process. This year only, it was on three occasions that we were asked & listened as to the appointment of faculties. The faculties are really helpful, even in the time of the pandemic, they are visiting the college and working diligently. On numerous occasions, I have asked the teachers to have a call & they have talked with me for hours. Honestly, they know how to handle students. Course Curriculum. . Each student has its own liking of courses but I find the curriculum to be fine & fair. In later semesters, the college offers 32 subjects out of which 8 subjects are to be chosen by the students. This is what makes the Honours course different from regular LLB.

Internships Opportunities :

The college has visitings from firms like Amarchand Mangaldas, Sintex Group, Joyce Law Group, Nishith Desai Associates etc.

Placement Experience :

Placement Wing. Placement cell is fine & most students don't rely on the cell. The reason could be that a batch has at least 120+ students who look for jobs & the cell cannot place them all. Another reason could be that the students try to secure a job on their own & in the firms where they had interned and thus, placement cell has no role in that. Anyday, it's good to not rely on the placement cell for the recruiters won't gonna look into the recommendation of the cell rather the resume of the applicant. You may know that the institute provides necessary guidance related to CV vetting & Drafting cover letters.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Fee Structure & Facilities. Until now, we were asked to pay the full installment in one time; however, now the procedure is shifted to semester-wise payment of fees i.e. two installments in one year. Earlier, we were supposed to pay through Demand Draft but now the facilities such as net banking, NEFT, RTGS, and Card payment can be opted. Loan/Scholarship Provisions. The college provides for scholarship in the manner that a certain percentage of fees is waived by the college for the top 15-20 students according to the merit list. The college has a buddy program where juniors get to have a senior/buddy as their mentor. It is understood that many juniors are shy to talk with seniors & the buddy system is to do away with that problem.

Campus Life :

Campus Life. This aspect is the most satisfying hue of the college. The college has a beautiful campus with a really good library. A student of ILNU has access to libraries of IMNU, ITNU, etc. I have visited libraries of other institutes & they allow us to issue books as well. I used to spend hours in the ILNU library without getting exhausted. There you'll find many seniors on regular basis, just go and talk with them and they'll give you life lessons. College Events. There are numerous committees for organizing college events & many cultural and sports events are arranged from time to time.

Interview Experience :

There wasn't any group discussion or interview and the admission was based on entrance exams such as CLAT & LSAT.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is designed so that way the students can use the theoretical knowledge when they go for their internships during the summer break as well as the winter breaks. For example, the subject of Drafting, P Leading, and conveyancing is taught during their third year which helps the student in drafting in their internships.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I'm B.com is a degree where you can find every subject of studies of commerce like finance and accounting, banking and insurance and many more so in the future if I want to pursue any professional degree like CA, CS, CMA then it will be very helpful because the basic concept is cleared in b.com. Mostly in exam time, I prefer the old university question papers, and I have marked in the classroom as well as the professors are very polite the will personally help students too. If you opt for an external degree then you can find many YouTube channels as well very they can easily cover all the topics of every subject.

Placement Experience:

LJSL provides placements and internships too. LJSL provides greater opportunities under many great Advocates and even guides and encourages students who are interested to be part of the Judiciary in the future. My desire is to be part of the Judiciary in the future. LJSL is best for me because I get complete knowledge about the law as the most important thing is to interpret the law. All Faculties here are the great Interpreters of Law. So, LJSL is the Best.

Admission:

I appeared for the Maharashtra common entrance test and got into this college by qualifying in that exam. I scored 124 out of 200 and got this college in my counseling list. Its nearer to my home so I opted for this college.

Placement Experience:

As far as I know there is no internship or placement provided by the college. The students have to arrange for their own placement. There's a placement cell though in the college which notifies the students about various placements and prepares them to face the interviews.
