Remarks :

I chose this course as I want to join a good company of my core branch. I want to improve teaching methodology for this course curriculum in order to make it more effective. The college has good connectivity of roads and campus environment is good for learning. The college provides scholarship to student so I opted this.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Most of the teaching staff have teaching experience of many years. All of them are highly supportive and help students to solve their doubts. The curriculum is very old and need to be modified. It is partially relevant course and prepare students for industries.

Class Size : 60Course Fees : INR 150000 per year

Placement Experience :

More than 80% of the eligible students get placed from college. The highest salary package offered was 27 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 2.4 LPA. The average salary package offered was 5 LPA. TCS, IBM, Sopra Steria, To the new digital, Sapient, and HCL are the top companies that visit our campus for recruitment. Approximately 10% of the students got good internships in IISC Bangalore and Cisco. The roles offered were as a software developer, tester, business analyst, etc.

College Events :

The campus life was overall good. It's all depends on your way how to you adjust yourself and how makes your friends. Over all seniors are very friendly. Many more events conducted in college. Genero was organised in very huge way.

Campus Life :

Various facilities like air conditioning and projector system in classrooms are available in college. The campus building, administrative block, labs and hostel building are in good condition. There is 3-4 canteen and library within the campus. The quality of food available in hostel mess is good. Medical facilities are available in college dispensary. Various sports activities are played in college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The subject of Biotechnology is of great importance and is very new and interesting too. The subjects offered are relevant and insightful as they offer knowledge on all aspects of the field. The curriculum is in correspondence to the syllabus of entrance exams like GATE making the preparation easier. We have exams every 4 months. The schedule is decent but there are lesser gaps than required between exams. The practical exams are sometimes conducted in the gaps between the exams.

From seven-semester, the student is eligible for placement. Cognizant, Accenture, tcs, etc. The average package is 3 lakhs and 3.5 lakhs and the highest package will be 42 lakhs. 89% of students get placement. After getting the degree I will apply for CDS and other government jobs.
