Remarks :

Sri Venkateswara College of Engineering is one of the best Engineering College having good name in our city. My brother is an alumni of this College and he recommended to join this College. I am impressed with its lab facilities like pilot scale Fermenter and wave bioreactor. Also animal House and tissue engineering lab is available which is more for my Research career.

Course Curriculum Overview :

This College is accredited by Anna university so they are using Anna university syllabus but being autonomous College they slightly modified included some additional topics or removed some. Whatever book they prefer to learn they can choose for electives subject because of choice based credit system. Staff are good and friendly. Their teaching method is both on ppt and black board.

Class Size : 12Course Fees : INR 78000 per year

Placement Experience :

No placement opportunities for master degree. Only Undergraduate student have placements. Many companies came for interview they took student based on their performance on interview. Here innovation council is there for helping students with entrepreneur ideas.

College Events :

I am not much impressed with their extracurricular. Like other College same NCC, NSS, Redcross and Leo club. No big events I seen in this College. Only technical events happen in department like symposium, seminars,Guest lecture, work shop. Sports events generally participate by hostellers because our college bus took by 3.

Average college but a good place to study on your own

Placement Experience:

The campus placements start in the 7th semester. Due to the recession, there is a lot of backlash when it comes to placements. It has been quite poor for the last few years. But it depends on how the student is prepared for the competitive world.

Placement Experience:

Students who pursuing five and sixth semesters onwards are eligible to attend the placements and internship. Mostly the IT companies are visited frequently and core companies are low. The Highest package is 9LPA. The percentage of college placement is 78 percent. I planned to make higher studies after my degree.

Be detailed, specific and honest

Placement Experience:

Placements in our college are not as good as you expect from a B-School. The highest salary package offered to be 20 LPA, and most of us are to console with a salary package ranging from 6 to 7 LPA. However, almost 95% of the students got placed, but it was noticed that some of them got salary packages ranging from 4 to 5 LPA, and even some got lower than that.

Remarks:

Super food, environment is super even compared with higher education.

Admission:

I got admission in this college through counseling which is the regular annual engineering counseling conducted by the anna university which is the common organization for all engineering organizations among the state. The counseling is purely based upon the cutoff marks scored by the students. I got admission in 07. 07. 2016. I chose this college because of the suggestion given by the neighbors. On before that, i've chosen engineering because i didn't got enough score for medical course.
