Remarks :

The admission procedure in VIT Business School is quite a simple procedure. The first thing that the candidate needs a minimum of 60% of Marks in the undergraduate degree you've pursued. Work Experience adds to your benefit. I had taken the Mat exam which is necessary. Exams like XAT, MAT, CAT, NMAT, GMAT, ATMA are also valid. And then Submit your Application with the Score of any of this examination, you will be Called for the WAT (Written Aptitude Test) and then PI (Personal Interview). Based on the performance they will give your admission.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Faculties were very helpful and will be available most of the time. The quality of teaching is good and they are very interactive. The course curriculum is a Fully flexible credit system. It is very good. We can choose our own subjects, faculty and timing. We can select min of 18 to a maximum of 28 credits per semester. There will be projects for subjects, with the help of this we can get good exposure to companies and industries.

Internships Opportunities :

VIT provides you with a letter signed by the Dean of your branch, that you can send to the Company if required. VIT encourages you to undergo an "Industrial Internship" so that you get acquainted with working in the Industry, which would help you in the future.

Placement Experience :

Placements in our college are not as good as you expect from a B-School. The highest salary package offered to be 20 LPA, and most of us are to console with a salary package ranging from 6 to 7 LPA. However, almost 95% of the students got placed, but it was noticed that some of them got salary packages ranging from 4 to 5 LPA, and even some got lower than that.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fees structure of VIT Business School is yearly Once you have to pay the full payment and there are no instalments. And Tution fee Waiver is there in VIT Business School. Candidate with valid CAT/ XAT/ GMAT scored in 95 percentile and above are eligible for a full tuition fee waiver. Candidate with valid CAT/XAT/GMAT Score of 90 percentile and above are eligible for a 50% tution fee Waiver. A candidate with a valid MAT score above 790 (791 to 800) is eligible for the full tuition fee waiver. Candidate with MAT Score in the range of 760 to 790 is eligible for a 50% tution fee waiver. NMAT score: 345 Full fee waiver; 325-345 50% fees Waiver.

Campus Life :

The Infrastructure of the college is good. VIT Business School is located at Mahatma Gandhi Block at the extreme end of the campus, which is an added advantage for students pursuing an MBA. Clubs are run by the students are Entrepreneurship Cell, Social welfare.

Perfect hangout with food, fun and frolic, our cafeteria boasts of a wonderful gastronomic tour. Offering oriental, Indian, continental menus, this cafeteria is one of the hot-spots in the campus. The details about the placement and job opportunities provided to the students are fully known to me and it was amazing.

Entrance Preview:

I took CAT for my MBA admissions in Top B-Schools but unfortunately my score is not up to the standard required in LIBA (Loyola Business School). So my next choice is SRM , there in addition to CAT i was made to take SRMCAT which has same standard as CAT. After that i got score to get into SRM institute of Management.

Admission:

I got admission in SRM institute of management.Initially we have to get application form from admission dept. The admission process is of two phases in which on Phase 1- We have to pay the Fee mentioned (Full fees or partial) and we have to get the Fee receipt. Phase 2 will be just before the college opening and in that we have to give all certificates needed and it will be verified.

Remarks:

Very good education i could get ' Value for Money' then as we were all Ist gen professionals trying hard for a degree and a future. I would say what I learnt from the University in a rural setting was 'Values'. As the saying goes : 'Valuables' are valuable but 'Values' are invaluable.
