Remarks :

Top and oldest medical college in Assam. And the faculty there is good. People come more there so there is more scope to get studied. Amidst everything the college week is super and one of the best in Assam.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Good. The course updation is very good. The exposure is really informative. The faculties are helpful enough to get the topic to learn in very simple ways. The college seems to be the second home and will always be a part of the life in moulding us in a good manner.

Class Size : 170Course Fees : INR 5000 per year

Placement Experience :

The college itself has an internship which pays you around 30000 per month and everyone can opt for job after the completion of 1 year internship. The placement job offers you 40000 per month and it will increase in coming years.

College Events :

Coming to fest, there are lots of activities during the college week like from every games to indoor activities like rangoli competition, painting, then drama, etc.etc. And during festivals, different hostels organize differently. Its always seems vibrant, full of joy, and a wonderful life there.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Yes there are many scholarship for freshers and also from students coming from BTAD areas. Even u can apply for other scholarship available online for medical students. People coming from SC/ST can avail free books from the library for the whole term which is itself seems to be a scholarship.

Campus Life :

Coming to facilities, College is good with all facilities. There is football ground, cricket and an indoor badminton court. Wifi is available to every hostel and department. Libraby is good, filled of books and a 2 storey building and labs of every department is quite upgraded and keeps on upgrading.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel facility is good. The electricity is free of cost. The rooms are free of cost. U need to pay for only the food. There is everyday cleaning of the hostels. Boys hostel have a playground. And girls hostel are build with safety and the whole campus is guarded.

Hostel Fee : INR 25000 per year

Placement Experience:

The college holds a high placement rate with a significant percentage of Students security jobs before graduation. The college attracts reputed companies e.g. google ,microsoft , bajaj, oracle,barclays , grow ,etc. for campus placement including top multinational corporations and leading firms in various sectors . Total 164 offers were made by 59 companies during last academic year(2022-23). In addition, IIT Guwahati students have already received as many as 214 pre placement offers during the academic year 2023-24. The highest package this year is 2.05 crore per annum. Placement rate is 72%. My plan is to get a good pre placement offers before my graduation .

My college experience

Course Curriculum Overview:

One sessional exam and one semester exam per month reduces the burden on the students. Seminars are compulsory and they carry marks according to our curriculum and that helps us to improve our presentation skills and improve our public speaking skills. The sessional exam is not that hard and you can score well in semester exam if you solve previous years question papers.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I like physics so much that's why I chose this course and the faculty member are very friendly they helped us with every problem .there are 4 faculty members .there qualification is they all have PhD degrees. the teaching method is very good. there are sessional exams before the finals and it's is easy enough to pass if u study the regular class and attend regular classes.
