Remarks :

This is a amazing college to complete your graduation from. You get enormous opportunities for exposure. The teachers are also eager to help us in every manner regarding our education or career and the campus life is also worthwhile.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum was structured in 6 Semistars within 3 years focused with enhancing or making us reach the peak with professionalism in English. We are been taught of all the foundation of English literature to make us reach the peak with the linguistic skills of English.

Placement Experience :

We have a placement cell which is growing steadily with the passing years. The cell aims to explore the different employment avenues available to us. Many of my seniors are placed straight after the college from the campus placements in companies such as Indigo Airlines, Jet Airways, Emirates, Teach For India etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Fees structure of my college is feasible or can be paid conveniently by all the students from high class to bourgeois. However the amount may seem a little expensive for the students belonging to poor backgrounds. The total fees of three year of this course is Rs.65,200/-

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Scholarships opportunities in my college is provided to students as per there allover performance not just in acadamics but in Cocurricular activities too. Some of the scholarships provided by my college are Academic scholarship, All-rounder scholarship and many others are available.

Campus Life :

Untill now I havent experienced any sort of differentiatin due to my race, religion, ethnicity etc and there is no chance of discrimination in the college based on gender as the college itself promotes girls education being a whole of college for girls.

Admission :

My admission in this college for BA (Hons.) (English) was on the basis of my merit in the academic year (10+2) the basic eligibility criteria for admission was to be qualified with minimum of 50% in aggregate and English as a core subject.

Faculty :

The faculty of my department is well qualified professionals. They speak English with fluency. And teach us everything with great desire to make us adroit with the professionalism of English. Further they also have years of experience.

Placement Experience:

Many more placements are available after completion of the 8th semester. Many reputable companies are taken interviews for final year students like - CIPLA, Mefopharm, Macleods, Pfizer, Alkem for production, QA, QC department. Nestle, Tablet India are taken interviews for medical representatives. Wipro, Cognizant is taken an interview for the pharmacovigilance department.

Hardship ends someday after Placements.

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for placement after the 6th semester onwards.A total of 98 companies visited our college out of which they offered 120 offers and 86 students applied for placements out of which 78 are selected in the CSE branch. The selection was 90 percent. Average pay was 4-5LPA and the highest was 25LPA CTC in India. After getting my degree i planned for higher studies and placement in a MNC.

Remarks:

ItÕs one of the oldest Bschools in Kolkata. I love the infrastructure of the college. ItÕs known for its faculties and placement. IÕve known a lot of students from this college. I visited the college and the people were really professional and helpful.

Admission:

Currently I am seeking knowledge at under graduate level in [BA] {Hons.} (Travel and Tourism) and for admission I applied for online application for admission of this college and got selected on merit basis in the qualifying examination. For eligibility in this course a student must be passed in 10+2 in any stream from WBCHSE/ CBSE/ISC with minimum of 45%

Placement Experience:

It's a part of course curriculum to do a practical training once with the help of Dept. of Tourism Govt. of West Bengal. Which basically to prepare us for great jobs. Further the placement cell itself also helps us a lot practically to prepare us for training for placements and provides career guidence to us.

The best department

Remarks:

Nothing is perfect in the whole universe. There were loopholes in the college administration and there were a few, not-so-good guys, who did mistreat with students but thanks to the higher authorities, those were never a permanent issue.
