Course Curriculum Overview

B.math (Hons.) Is a three years course and have total of six semistars. It's well focused on research and the structure consists of all the main subjects related to mathematics and also computer science (Programming) and physics is also part of the course curriculum which sets a basic foundation for physics and computer science as well.

Placement Experience

After competing of B.math (Hons.) Undergraduate programme for enormous opportunities of placements the student have to persue post graduate in the same. In which a student automatically gets admission in the institute after completing the requirements and then further after the post graduate the placement opportunities become huge from the college campus placements many of the students got placed in companies such as Microsoft, LinkedIn, Flipkart, Myntra, Zendrive and many more.

Fee Structure And Facilities

In my college we have to pay only for application of admission General-INR 1250 & Reserved / PwD category: INR 625 (excluding taxes) and don't have to pay any tution fees, other than refundable library and hostel fees and the recurring mass fees there isn't any fees that the institute ask for. Rather monthly stipend in the first year is provided by the institute of Rs. 3000. Further if a student is economically poor he/she can ask for financial help from the authorities of institute.

Fees and Financial Aid

My college do not provide with any scholarships. And we don't really actually need it as there isnt any tution fees that the institute ask for. And rather provide us with stipends of Rs. 3000/- in the first Semistar thereself if we aren't getting scholarships from somewhere. However the stipends gets cancelled if we are getting admission on the basis of scholarships.

Campus Life

Extracurricular activities isn't however as such regular in my college but we do play various sports and games during our free time. We have all sorts of courts for sports (badminton court, volleyball court,basketball court) and a sports ground for Cricket, Football, and athletics.

Admission

I am doing B.Math.(Hons.) From here. And the selection was based on my performance in written exam and interview conducted by the college. The basic eligibility criteria for B.Math.(Hons.) admission here is to be qualified in 10+2 from a recognised board with maths and English as must subjects.

Faculty

The faculty is well qualified and have had done PHD in there subject. And teach us with lots of patience and calmness and deal with our queries properly. They are also very amiable and professional altogether to make the classes not so serious but rather interesting or fun.

For jobs, it prepares you very well. You work through real case studies, Harvard business simulations, and a 4-to-6-month corporate internship, so you aren't completely clueless on day one at an office. If your goal is a PhD or pure research, though, it leans a bit too practical and corporate rather than deeply academic.

They have highly qualified and experienced teachers.
For a sports enthusiast like me, having a ground is great in college is great.
There are various types of events conducted very often which provides us exposure academically, culturally, socially and it also helps our social networking and connections.

Dislikes

I think infrastructure can be improved and maintained well, than it is now.
Placement services should be improved too.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose BCom because I was a commerce student in my PUC, and I wanted to master in the same field. This course has shaped my knowledge on accounts and finance which has been some sort of a passion for me. Accounts, tally, finance, are the studies that are to be applied by anyone who's working with numbers, finances or in banks, account sectors etc which I'm doing currently, and it has really helped me a lot. The only improvement in this course that I seek is practical applications and workshops that would definitely help students enhance their skills.

The great review

Likes

very first thing i like in the college is the wifi network,
the library which is very peace and silent
average places to take photos and nearby there is nandi hills to visit

Dislikes

i dislike the distance of the college, its too large, should walk soo much
the cost of stationaries in the general store
i dont think so faculy are that much expertise , only countable people worth it

see i have choosed this course because it is very relatable to CSE, coz my ranking was not sufficient to get this course. the course which i took "Information Science and Engineering" is really a good course. they make us real world engineers. the area they shld actually improve is, hiring worthable faculty.

Thoughts on BMSSA

Likes

Campus is amazing lot of open spaces and maintains all the greenary
The faculty is good as they all are practicing architects
The sports facility is also really good as there r lot of tournaments

Dislikes

Work load given is a lot and the pressure of submissions are unbareable
They expect a lot frm 1st sem students and forget the fact tht we jus started
Lot of teacher student rivalry and affecting the overall passing of the students

Course curriculum is amazing but again the aheets given and the expected submissions for a 1st yesr is too much and the pressure is high .the teaching methods r basically every 10 students r allotted to s mentor who then guides them thru the design process

The teaching faculty is the best here all the doctors who come to teach us are well trained and knowledgeable
The lab facilities are also very good here, we are having good access to the lab also
We are also getting easy access to the Hospital whenever we want to which is giving us good clinical knowledge

Course Curriculum Overview:

Ayurveda is holistic science in total to study about. Ayurveda helps us a lot when it comes to the application and clinical practice point of view. Ayurveda aims at mainly "Swasthasya swasthir rakshanam, athurasya vikar prashamanam" our entire curriculum is based on the aim of ayurveda which states protecting the health of a healthy person and also reversing the pathology of the diseased individual. Ayurveda mainly aims at the Doshas(vatta, pitta and Kapha) to treat the pathology and also to maintain the health of the healthy person. Ayurveda language is sanskrit so 1st year Sanskrit should be learnt properly. The term vise examination and periodic assessment are helping us to revise and learn the concept better.

Remarks:

This college has the best infrastructure in the area. They classrooms are huge enough to hold the capacity of at least 150 students. All the labs are highly equipped and all the classes have smart class projectors.

SAIACS is one of the best institutes

Remarks:

I did a two year Master of Divinity course from the South Asia Institute of Advanced Christian Studies. The college is a top spot for studying God and for the mental and spiritual growth of a being. The college is pretty much affordable and the quality of teaching is also good. On top of that, the faculty was vell qualified.

No comments on management except on decision taking, they take strict decision on attendance, discipline etc but we don't like tat. As though students are ment to break rules.

I did not apply to any other college other than Indian Statistical Institute- Bangalore, because this was my only aim and a dream college. I did not avail any quota and belong to the general category. The minimum age is 17 and the maximum is 20. The minimum marks vary depending on how the students have scored. The admission process was fairly simple. Approximately 1 month after the exam, an initial list of 85 students was declared from which the top 50 were eligible for admission and the rest were on the waiting list who would be eligible for admission in case of any vacancy. We got an email from the authorities right after the admission process got over. We were given a college email ID for official communication along with the date and time of counselling. On the day of counselling, some of the teachers along with the Head of ISIBC introduced us to the course and the campus along with the prerequisites for the course....Read More

If you love mathematics B.Math ISI Bangalore is the ideal place

I applied to many IITs and Jadavpur University. However, being invested in Mathematics, I thought that ISI Bangalore will be best for me. Most importantly I do not regret my decision as its a great institute. I did not have any quota, however, there are reservation of seats in the institute. The admission process is a little difficult. They have a separate entrance exam which has olympiad level mathematics. The minimum age is 17 and maximum is 20. Also, in order to sit for the exam you need to have english and mathematics in +2. Due to covid we did not have any interviews which is difficult too. The counselling was easier for me as I was selected in the first list.
