Course Curriculum Overview :
The semester structure for the 5 year BA LLB Honors course is quite unconventional. Each academic year was divided into three trimesters with 70~ working days in each trimester. The syllabus and course curriculum is very vast with a lot of focus on research.
Placement Experience :
For the third, fourth and final year students internship is mandatory as part of the course curriculum during the month of February to March. As for first and second year students it is not compulsory but encouraged by the faculty.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
The fees for for one academic year is Rupees 1,78,000/- and for a duration of five years it is a total of Rs. 8,90,000/-. The fees is a bit on the expensive side but considering the amount of trimesters and facilities it is okay.
Campus Life :
There are several events organized by the college itself such as debate competitions, essay writing competitions, MOOT courts etc. Several Webinars and Seminars are also organized. The overall mindset is very progressive.
Admission :
Admission to National Law School of India University is done on the basis of the marks obtained in the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) conducted by the CLAT Committee. The exam is conducted in the month of May usually and the admission process itself is online.
Faculty :
The faculty at the National Law School of India University is very well qualified. Each professor has a lot of experience with teaching, and they are all very well qualified. Several of the professors have publications in reputed journals.
