Entrance Preview :
Karunya university test was there for entering into M.E[CSE] ie master of engineering in computer science & Engineering followed by interview,over past educational background,work experience in between etc followed by Report of selections into the course if selected or not. I was awarded pass in my exam and also outstanding in my interview and was applauded over my previous Bachelor of engineering course etc. I opt this University because it was a deemed university then and best infrastructure and with Christian moral ethical values which teach all morals to live and fly in colours in future career and life etc. So only I opted for this colleges.
Course Curriculum Overview :
It was oustanding as I've Learnt and the course curriculum teaches in details all the computer subjects with to master over all my existing skills and enhancable computer skills which could eleveate me in my future. Details of electives are Mobile communications,Parallel processing,Advanced Database Management in Various databases like open source etc.
Internships Opportunities :
At that time while studying my education in M.Tech was between the years 2006-2008. Internship was not planned at that days of old and so we did'nt get internship. As of now we are haveing internship for all courses like in PG,PHD etc.
Placement Experience :
Placement agencies were coming to my university to recruit experience,freshers in B.E and M.E ie graduated and post graduates .Placements went well and job s in Software,Hardware and Networking were provide in Multi National Companies with quite good Packages,Emoluments etc.Compani ::Wipro,Infosys,TCS,Satyam.HCL,etc all of them are MNC and offer upto 3 LPA staring for freshers.
College Events :
Symposiums,interNational,National level seminars,technical competetions,quizes,Group discussions,Get-togethers with Aluminus,Fresheres,Farewell parties with seniors and Meet with the founders Dr DGS Dhinakaran and Dr paul dhinakaran and their trust,Food-Fest. They used to Last for atleast minimum of 2 -3 days.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
To Talk about fees structure in my university its little expensive as it being a deemed university and high hostel rooms with internet,wifi networks,games,Grounds,Jims,rooms for sick,university,community hospital pressent. I'st semester fees 80,000,II Smester 40000,III'rd semester 40000,IV'th semester 40000. This regards only to educational fee and we had extra hostel boarding,Lodging fees and mess fees also.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
As of my knowledge goes,since my B.E in 1997-01 and M.E in 2006-08 we were not availed any educational scholarship and we didnt recieve any Loan facility to study. Only sc,st Students some were pressnt and they could be able to avail scholarship al the end-of the year. I did'nt recoeve any scholarship or Loan for studying.
Campus Life :
We had an extraordinary campus life with starting from Playground,Games halls like TT,Basket ball,Volley ball,Hockey grounds and also indoor statium like chess etc and my experiece at my college,unversity days were awesome and happliy.We had every week extra cocurricular activities like singing,dancing,Playing various game slike dubsmash,dumpsherats and all. We had prizes distributed from the games held week wise. We had Staring from English lab,Physics,ECE,CSE,EEE,Mech,Advanced Computer centre with extra high-end feautres with High-end computers Servers etc. We also had Robotics,Debate competitions on all kinds of subjects like starting from civil-IT,Computer science and engineering topics. They were to rated 10/10 10 scale being the highest and 100%.
Hostel Facilities :
As told in point 8 we have excellent,putstanding hostel facilities like single,double,four seater rooms,Hall,Mess halls with internet,wifi networks,games,Grounds,Jims,rooms for sick,university,community hospital pressent.Any time we dont have hostel seats shortage .we are occupied in an area of 800 Acres. Mess were very clean,Monitored periodically and food was very good to say in india its the best with all dishes and tiffins,Lunch,snacks like icecreams,Refreshing snacks etc. Another important point is that Karunya Institute of tech located in Siruvani Coimbatore has world's second Largest sweet water supplied from Hill Falls located in Siruvani.
Exam Structure :
In our karunya university we have Controller of examinations followed by scrutineers and examiners and squad. Once during Christmas season December month we had daily exams and I couldnﾒt make it to study and in was tensed on one day exam named Advanced dbms lab even though I didnﾒt find time to recap all the material I studided during the semester and I know subject thoroughly well I could'nt answer 2 questions which were to my knowledge and was chilled out due to tensed. On the whole Exams were with gap but only no gap during december month.
Faculty :
In my view 100% of my teachers are very very intersted in teaching,imparting knowledge,subject,to the students and all of them like are highly qualified. My Dean for Computer science and engineering branc has M.Tech and doctorate from Massechuetts university and HOD is also posesses doctorate with high sharp exp around 10+ year sof experience in CSE from an american university. All of rest teaching facluty like Assistant professors,Associate professors are also Post Graduates in Computer science and engineering with atleast 5-8 years of proven teaching field experience.
