Remarks :
I learnt almost everything. Now i can cook even better than my mom, i sew my own clothes so perfectly that people suggest me to open my boutique on which i am also serious so soon i will set it up. This college instilled some dreams in me which i always ignored in my entire life. So basically this college taught me how to live life to the fullest.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I just loved the syllabus as it includes everything basically about home activities and is mainly preferred by girls. But in my class there were boys too. It is a 3 year course which has 6 subjects, 2 for every year. The subjects were: home management & housing, Extension education, Introduction to textiles, Child development, Fundamentals of food & production and Dietetics & therapeutic nutrition.
Placement Experience :
The college provides internships and placements opportunities to those who are serious because college builds their name by linkups with companies in which their students are placed. At my time companies who were into food consultation, health care, interior designing, teaching, etc used to come. But my motto was not to work rather to gain all the basic knowledge and also I belong to a rich family so i didn't felt the need of it.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
Tuition fees is different in all the years but it is very nominal. It was approx 5-6 thousand. Total it was 17,690. And this much is just feasible for all. I never inquired about the fees in other colleges because i was firm about this college but according to my friends who roamed for 5-6 days and lastly chose this college,other colleges were charging more and lacked many facilities.
Campus Life :
The college has all kinds of facilities set up which are fully spaced, ventilated and well furnished. They have big labs, library, sewing lab, a big playground, clean canteen, etc. A big auditorium is also there where seminars, sessions and quizzes are arranged. All kinds of festivals of all the cultures are celebrated.
Admission :
In my school when there was 12th class result day, almost all the colleges came for their promotion leaving this one. And what i believe is those who don't promote themselves, they actually don't require it as they are already well established. So this was my reason of coming here. And i chose BA in Home Science because i have no interest in studies but just for the sake of getting graduate i chose this and my mother too suggested this.
Faculty :
The faculties of this college are very much talented and experienced. Many of them are famous interior designers, some have their boutique, some are chefs. Inspite of being so busy in their work, they still take time to tech students because they are precious. One who is actually working and knows how market works can only teach better.
