Food, Wine, Travel and Fun

Course Curriculum Overview :

The 3-year course is jam-packed with a variety of fun subjects required in the travel and hospitality sectors. We have baking workshops, food production classes, nutrition and beverage lessons and what not!

Placement Experience :

In a nutshell, brilliant! If you graduate from IIHM Goa, rest assured, you will be setting yourself up for a plush life holding managerial positions in 5-start hotels! JW Marriott and Fairmont are among our top recruiters!

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Considering the exposure we reserve and the opportunities we get after we leave college, the Rs 4.2 lakhs paid as total tuition fee does not seem too much at all! Rs 1.4 lakh per year is quite reasonable for the top-class education we receive!

Campus Life :

The facilities in the campus are really good! There is a swimming pool, a gym, a plush library, a cafeteria and a few AC Conference rooms. Of the activities that take place, the workshops are my favourite!

Alumni/Alumna :

The alumni network is quite strong in our college. Especially in the hospitality and travel industries, references are very important. Our seniors, who are placed in high positions in 5-star hotels across the country and also internationally, try to help us out!

Admission :

IIHM Goa has a very straightforward procedure when it comes to admission. The only two criteria for eligibility is you must clear your 10+2 exams and be under the age of 22. Then you will be placed in the merit list on the basis of marks and in some cases, an interview.

Faculty :

There is never a dull day in college just because of the awesome faculty we have! Though most of our courses are fun, there are some which are theory-based and our professors make sure they sprinkle in fun lessons and workshops here.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I think they should include more of practical teachings than just going by books. A little bit of teaching in practice and giving more of live examples would have helped students to kick start their career way effectively.

for final placements students from the fifth semester become eligible and for the SIP program after 3 trisemesters you can take part in sip recruitment. A large number of companies visit the campus for both SIP and Final placements. 100% of placements are there in GIM in all courses. My plans are to work in a Big firm and complete my CA course

In aspects of enrollment quality and packages, India's IITs are very good. IIT Goa is of the same caliber as IIT Delhi, and it offers some of the best recruitment opportunities in India. The college has a track history of 100% placement. The highest selection offer is approximately 47 LPA, and the average earnings package is approximately 18 LPA. The placement committee is constantly working to improve college placement standards.

Remarks:

New college, no existing information. I chose this because i saw the scope of growth. It had an affiliation with IIT Bombay, which was very good. The admission process was the standard JoSAA process, whch is for admiassion to IITs. the admissionis on the basis of JEE Advanced and the process spans over two months, starting in June.

Admission:

JEE advanced score was the admission criteria. I took coaching for two years for preparing for the same. It was a two stage exam consisting of Maths, Physics and Chemistry Questions, mostly multiple choice questions.

Admission:

To get admission, I had to first fill out the application form which is present on the college website, then I had to submit the marks scored in grade 12 and then the students were ranked according to marks scored and the students who were selected had to give an interview.

Placement Experience:

Our college provides various placements opportunities but they are quite limited and the college is going to increase the companies offering placements in the coming years, a really good stipend is provided by the companies.

Admission:

For admission into Goa Medical College, I had to give NEET entrance exam. I even had a counselling session before my admission. Based on my score and merit list I secured admission in GMCH. The college also provides relaxation to the SC/ST candidates.

Placement Experience:

There are not much placement opportunities for MBBS students. Nonetheless, we have to do a compulsory internship of eight to ten months after completing our final semester. The stipend offered during the internship is roughly ?16000 per month.

Admission:

My keen interest in the field of Science made me find an apt college for doing my MBBS course and Goa Medical College was my choice. Known for the fusion of European and Indian culture/beauty, Goa is a favourite destination for many and it was my dream to study in this beautiful land. I've applied to the course of MBBS with my NEET UG Medical Scorecard. The selection process also involved NEET UG counselling session.

Placement Experience:

The college provides internship for all the students after the final year of MBBS. The Stipend is for one year and is around Rs.15000 per month. The internship program is very much useful for the students and makes them capable through experience.
