It is one of the best college in India. Dont miss chance if you get chance to be there

Entrance Preview :

I cleared Gate 2012 with rank 238 in chemical engineering. I did as i wanted to go for higher studies.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Course curriculum was outstanding with various advance topic. Few subject like computational fluid dynamics, soft matter were too good, these subject are taught only in premier institute.

Internships Opportunities :

I did my internship in one of the urea plant where i learnt about production of urea. Various stages in process were explained to me by well experienced engineer. They offered me accomodation plus meal facility

Placement Experience :

There were so many companies with various profile related to management, finance, engineering, Analyst, officer post. Highest package was around 1 crore while lowest was around 3 lakh with average 6 lakh.

College Events :

Cultural fest known as rendezvous. The fest is the largest cultural fest across north india with more than 30 country particupation. Footfall is around 50 thousand

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Considering the facilities which government in providing the fees are quite feasible. We also got 8 thousand monthly stipend which was enough for monthly expense

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Monthly 8 thousand rupees scholarship provided by MHRD. Other scholarship are also available. There is loan facility for economical weaker section of the soceity

Campus Life :

Each soceity is well developed with ample oppurtunity for each student for proper growth. Labs are of international quality, sports facility are also very good

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel facilities were very good with twin sharing, single sharing option. Mess was little costly but that was not an issue as quality was better

External Expense : Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna :

Alumini network is quite good with various people occupying important portfolio. Few notable alumin are flipkart founders, snapdeal founders, raghram rajan

Exam Structure :

Exam structure is balanced, some semester are tough but it depend on courses which are being opted.

Faculty :

Faculty were very well qualified with numerous academic award. Many of them have fame across country in their respective fields. Their research area were equally good with various funding sources.

Before last year you are eligible for placements. Many companies visit at the time of placement like JN Street, JP Morgan, HFTs, Amazon, Adobe, Microsoft, ITC, and many more. Approx 1200 offers were made throughout campus. Highest package : 3 crores per annum Average package: 15 lakhs per annum Jobs were offered in different profiles ranging from core, software, consult, product manager, and many more. IIIT Delhi Review

Placement Experience:

The college has a 100% placement record. The college placement cell is professional and supportive and they guide us during the placement tenure. During our batch placement drive, around 120+ companies visited the campus. The highest package went up to 25 LPA and the average package was around 16 LPA. I also received a package of 18 LPA from Microsoft which was like dream come true. Companies like Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, Tower Research Capital, Mercedes Benz, Amazon, Google, Infosys, Wipro, etc visited our campus during the placement drive.

Its a Good College under Delhi Govt

Placement Experience:

From 3 semesters or in the final year students become eligible for placements. TCS HCL WIPRO Cognizant were some of the companies who came to our college and 15 offers were made there in our couse Highest Package offered was 10 Lacs and Average Package offered was 3.5 Lacs and lowest package offered was 2 lacs 60 Percent students got placed in our course and some students did not for placements as they were more interested in teaching and Research Field. My plan was to get a govt job or job in corporate sector as having a masters degree gives you some advantage in the govt exams In Case Student did not get any placements and then he can prepare for govt job and can do some course to keep him up to date with latest technologies in the industry and for better prospects

Remarks:

The campus is located in the NCR which provides it one of the best connectivity with rest of the country. Also it is located in one of the best locality. All the necessities hospital market metro etc are in close proximity ( also available Inside the campus). The campus is strictly bounded by the local colonies which and has almost utilised all of its land space so there is no possibility of expanding it physically which is now a challenge.
