Course Curriculum Overview :

We are regularly kept in check for our studies by taking surprise quizzes and announced quizzes. This helps us to be up to date with the course. The course is planned taking in perspective of the newly advanced technology.

Internships Opportunities :

Many companies like Mastercard, Oracle, Vedanta, Quadeye, Quantbox come for giving internship jobs. Mostly students with high cgpa and skills get these internships with a roughly stipend of 1 lakh per month.

Placement Experience :

Students who are in their 5th semester are eligible for internship and students working in internship mostly get Pre placement offers. If not then students are eligible in their 7th semester and 8 th semester break to get placement from companies.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Yearly tution fees is 2 lakh and 10 thousand for miscellaneous expenses. Registration fees is 19000 and security deposit is 40000. There is no fees for sc/st and for students whose family income is less than 1 lakh per annum. The top 3 department ranks get a scholarship of 2 lakhs per annum which I had received last year.

Campus Life :

Roughly 3-4 fests are organised every year in our college. Out of them Rendezvous is the biggest cultural fest of North India. There are also other fests like Becon in which Bill Gates came. Hence the overall social and aspect is excellent.

Hostel Facilities :

There are many hostels and we are currently provided a room with one partition for two people. The mess is not good and occasionally we get good meal. The hostel room is affordable comparatively than the PGs nearby.

Admission :

I chose this college because of its exposure and good placement opportunities. Also I wanted to have an experience of living in an metropolis which is too expensive. For entry into this college we have to give Jee Mains and advanced and qualify in the exam to get admission

Faculty :

The faculty to student ratio is 1:30. There are professors in the campus who are very helpful. For example the HOD of our department is very joyful man and helps every student who needs help. Probably he is the most funniest professor I have ever encountered till now.

After the end of third year placement season starts that is an the end of 6th semester. During the summer break companies start coming for placement and the placement drive takes place till March that is 8th semester end. A lot of companies visit DTU. The numbers can go as high as 300. The average package is also very good

Placement Experience:

At IIITD students become eligible for internships after 2nd year. First sem students also get a chance to get internship from UNIQLO. The company takes some students from first sem and offer them stipends and a trip to tokyo. The percentage of placements is good at IIITD but it went down during recession. The highest package offered is 55lpa domestic and 120lpa overseas and the avg package is 20-25 lpa. Approx 70% students got placed in year 2024

Placement Experience:

5th semester students are eligible for internships and 7th semester students are eligible for placements( full time offers) Many bigtech companies like Google, Microsoft, Uber, Salesforce, Intuit etc visit our campus and hiring rate is not that bad, depends upon the company's budget and students' calibre. Average package of our college varies between 13 lakhs to 19 lakhs and most of the companies come for software developer roles. Didn't planned yet

Remarks:

* the comparison of pros and cons are based on all the colleges under GGSIPU and not IIT, or NITPros:Transportation: college is well connected and within metro, bus routes, the choice is yours.Good campus: In GGSIPU campus of ADGITM is one of the best.Faculty: Faculty are good and always there for your helpCollege Societies: From sports to arts and culture to entrepreneurship college has societies, if you want to join and explore then society are one of the best place to explore as they are quite active.Infrastructure: the college has good infrastructure considering other college of GGSIPU.Cons:Placement for other branch than CS and IT are very rare if you want to work in core sectors. The education is based on to get marks in the end sem and not to learn and grow, which is the sad part.Investment in societies by college is negligible, student manages most of the events by themselves that is one of the reason most of the societies underperform than their calibre. If you are getting MAIT or GB pant go for that as the education is quite same but there you can get more placement opportunity in the core sector. and more space to grow.My time admission was based on GGSIPU CET but now it is based on JEE Main score as GGSIPU comes under JEE Main.

Admission:

Yes there was a written test and the admission is purely on the base of written test, and rank achieved in that written test. Written test is JEE main and it is based on physics, maths and chemistry of 12th standard.
