Remarks :

Definitely should attend the college. There is good infrastructure in place at the college plus distance education options. They have a really good course curriculum with the MBA program offered so it is worth a shot.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The exams are throughout the semester, and there are 8 papers which the students will be graded upon. Hence, the exams can be a bit tough to prepare for since there are a lot. The course has also increased in terms of its difficulty.

Placement Experience :

Some students do get placed at certain companies that come to the campus. But this is not the case with all students. One of the things that you need to keep in mind are that you need to be able to stand out from the other students.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Fees are pretty reasonable for the MBA course. The per year fees are around 80,500 rupees. These fees include the exam fees, other fees plus the initial tuition fees per semester. Hence, they are pretty good for an MBA course.

Campus Life :

There are many extracurriculars available for the students. Along with sports being a popular option, there are also some types of events or celebrations going on with the college or specific departments.

Admission :

You can write a lot of different qualifying examinations to get into this college. CAT, CMAT or JMET. After submitting your entrance exam scores, you will be admitted on the basis of the group discussions and personal interviews.

Faculty :

Faculty is pretty good. There are quite a few professors who have really good methods of lecturing, and who care about the students too. Plus, their experience from their respective fields is really helpful too.

Overall a Standard College; have parallels to its parent college FIEM

Placement Experience:

At the end of the 6th Semester many MNCs and startups like CTS, TCS, Virtusa, Wipro, etc visit our campus for internship opportunities as well as pre-placement offers. Most of the students do crack some or other internship opportunities and get in-hand industry experience. For our batch the highest offer we received is 7LPA and the average package ranges at about 4.5 - 3.5LPA ! Almost everyone does get placed, but the average ranges at about 70%-80%.

The students are eligible from the 4th year for the campus placement. Approximate 45% of placements are there for this pandemic. Marketing companies are coming here and the core companies are coming in low amounts.

Internship Opportunities

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placements after the 2nd Semester. HCL, OYO, HDFC Bank, Axis Bank, Dabur, ITC, BYJUs, etc. are brands that visit our college. The highest package was offered 9 LPA by OYO and the average package is somewhat around 4.5LPA. 80% of students are able to crack placements from our college. I am actually looking for an FMCG company after the degree from campus placements.

Distance education in nutrition

Remarks:

The college is a very old and well known one in West Bengal and being a part of the university has helped me learn the reason behind it. The staff and faculties of the college are so helpful and nice that it would be dream to a part of this institution.

Admission:

For the admission process I had to register on the official website and then check out the details of the course along with the eligibility criteria and the fee structure. After this I filled in my details and got a registration number and password through which I could log in and fill up the application form and make the application fee payment along with the first course fee.

Remarks:

The authority should look after the building, accommodation, library and the cafeteria. Library doesn't at all contain a good collection of quality books for individual subjects.The Canteen/Cafeteria is not upto the mark and the building should be remodeled.
