The University of North Bengal has become versatile in its education capabilities by offering distance education in a time like this, which is crucial. They also have great faculty and courses so it is worth attending.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Course curriculum is versatile. There are many case studies which is necessary for an MBA course, plus based on your area of focus, you might want to emphasize a certain subject that you favor like international business. Exams are continuous.

Placement Experience :

In truth, this depends more on your hard work and chosen area of study rather than a specific placement. An MBA suggests a higher level of degree with different specializations available, that is more up to your choice.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Fees are not overly expensive, however they are not exactly very cheap. They are moderate for the degree but students agree that you receive the value for the money you spend. Fees in total are 1.61 lakhs.

Campus Life :

Since there are a lot of different departments, there are usually some events going on in the campus. That could be competitions, quizzes or workshops or even anything that the students want to be involved with. There is a lot of things to do here!

Admission :

I chose this university because of it's variety of options. In times like this, distance education is really beneficial. Also, for admission you need to have a graduate degree with 50% plus a good CAT score.

Faculty :

Faculty is well-educated and are good teachers since they have a lot of relevant experience for the course that they are offering. This helps us a lot with our course as we need important case studies.

Overall a Standard College; have parallels to its parent college FIEM

Placement Experience:

At the end of the 6th Semester many MNCs and startups like CTS, TCS, Virtusa, Wipro, etc visit our campus for internship opportunities as well as pre-placement offers. Most of the students do crack some or other internship opportunities and get in-hand industry experience. For our batch the highest offer we received is 7LPA and the average package ranges at about 4.5 - 3.5LPA ! Almost everyone does get placed, but the average ranges at about 70%-80%.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placements after the 2nd Semester. HCL, OYO, HDFC Bank, Axis Bank, Dabur, ITC, BYJUs, etc. are brands that visit our college. The highest package was offered 9 LPA by OYO and the average package is somewhat around 4.5LPA. 80% of students are able to crack placements from our college. I am actually looking for an FMCG company after the degree from campus placements.

Distance education in nutrition

Remarks:

The college is a very old and well known one in West Bengal and being a part of the university has helped me learn the reason behind it. The staff and faculties of the college are so helpful and nice that it would be dream to a part of this institution.

Admission:

For the admission process I had to register on the official website and then check out the details of the course along with the eligibility criteria and the fee structure. After this I filled in my details and got a registration number and password through which I could log in and fill up the application form and make the application fee payment along with the first course fee.

The authority should look after the building, accommodation, library and the cafeteria. Library doesn't at all contain a good collection of quality books for individual subjects.The Canteen/Cafeteria is not upto the mark and the building should be remodeled.
