Remarks :

One of my cousin was earned his btech from here.so he recommended me to join here. It is a nice campus. But very strict . I got the admission through keam exam.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I'm interested in automobiles so I chooses mechanical engineering. There Is so many faculties for same subject Faculties are well qualified . Some are retired from govt college One semester is 6 months. The syllabus of ktu is little tough. We need 45% for pass the exam

Class Size : 60Course Fees : INR 10000 per year

Placement Experience :

Now I m in 3rd year . So I don't know more about the placement. There are many offers comes from it company like infosys, vipro amazon and core companies like bosch

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

I don't the fee for others. In my case I got the merit admission and I am in orc category. So I only pay 10000 for 1 year

Campus Life :

There are mainly two programs were conducted. One is art fest and other is tech fest. I like more tech fest than the art fest. There are two type of tech fest. Techshethra and abhiyanthriki. These two are come in alternate years. Abhiyanthriki is all India event and techshethra all Kerala event. There are many programs in this tech fest like class, games,expo and more fun. Art fest named as bharatham. The students in the college were grouped as 4 teams.and they compete each other

Hostel Facilities :

In first year I got a good room. I opted for a room with 3 including me. It is non attached. We have common bathroom. It's very clean and neat. There is also room with attached bathroom available. It need 1 lakh for an year. The meal is good.they provide veg and non veg.

Hostel Fee : INR 79000 per year

The Rajagiri engineering experience

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for the campus placements in the 6th semester. The average students getting placed in the mechanical department are about 30%. My plan after completing my mechanical engineering degree is to go for masters in business administration

NIT Cailcut-The Good,Bad and the Ugly

Placement Experience:

Students can apply for campus placements by the beginning of the 4th year.High paying companies are attracted by the placement cell which offer good packages to the students. The average packages for the circuital branch are pretty high. Each year about 200 companies are invited. The highest package for Electrical and Electronics has gone upto 38LPA with average package of about 14LPA in the graduation year 2024.About 128 students had registered out of which 120 students were placed.The minimum salary offered was 5LPA.

Is engineering here worth it?

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from 7th semester to sit for interviews. The pod.ai app helps us in making the resume and calculating a cgpa to appear for the intwrviews. The pod.ai registration fees is 500?. Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA
