Remarks :

Preferred this college over others because the fee was less compared to other private institutions in the state. The infrastructure is good. The faculties are very interactive. I came to know about this college through an advertisement on the television channel DY365. Then I searched for it. The atmosphere is good. The admission criteria are 50% in the qualifying examination.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I chose this course because it gives the same curriculum covered in Btech IT or CSE in 3 years. The faculty members are a very interactive method of teaching. The faculty members are highly qualified. Most of them have a doctorate degree. It is not at all difficult to pass. The exam is conducted at a standard level. Neither hard nor easy.

Class Size : 60Course Fees : INR 30000 per year

Placement Experience :

From the final year of any course like the 5th semester in Bsc or any 3-year degree and the 7th semester in Btech, students are eligible to sit for campus placement. The placement for MBA is very good here. Companies like BYJU's, Extramarks, and Paytm come for campus placement. 60% of students get placements here. The highest package was 9 lakhs per annum and the average is 3lakhs per annum.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The university provides a 100% scholarship for toppers. It also provides educational loans. The fee is quite reasonable. The placements are good. Companies like BYJU, Extramarks, and Paytm come for campus placement.

Campus Life :

The atmosphere is good. Campus life altogether is very good. Many books on different topics are available in the college library. Every year the university organizes a winter fest known as Talent Tantra which is said to be the largest Fest in the entire northeast. Different participants from different corners of the northeast come and take part in it.

Course Curriculum Overview:

There is a total of three internal exams from which the best of two are taken. This examination is held on every one and a half months interval time. The question pattern is mostly conceptual and is not so hard to attempt. This way you'll always have a very good chance of passing the examination.

Integrated M.sc in Chemistry : Admissions to Hostels

Course Curriculum Overview:

My reason to choose Integrated M.Sc in Chemistry was that I have always been fascinated by Chemistry and I knew that in future, I would like to receive a doctorate in the disciple of Chemistry. The faculty: student ratio is 1:30. The chemistry major classes of Integrated M.Sc and Integrated B.Sc. B.Ed. are done together. The faculty of the department of Chemical Sciences is rich and highly professional. Every individual professor is good and the focus is given to making the students understand the concepts of Chemistry. There are four term examinations in each semester: Test 1 (25 marks), Test 2 or Midterm (40 marks), Test 3 (25 marks) and Test 4 or Endterm (60 marks). The grading is relative and the question papers are set to test our knowledge of applications and theoretical concepts. They are easy to difficult depending on the course instructor.

Remarks:

NIT SILCHAR is one of the technological institutes of national importance established in the year 1950,one of the core learning centre for sciences and technology in north east,gaining spectacular growth in last few years it has secured 10th place out of 31 colleges,having the Asia's largest digital library, your life circle of 7 lives would not ne enough to compete all the books, the lush green environment and its location on southern side of kashi hills makes it a magnetic centre for knowledge thus lives. The patron of education and the spice of knowledgeable people from across the country under a 695 acres of land compressing of more than 5000 students is all i can describe my college, words fall short apart. Negative remark as such is its isolation from ROI it takes almost 1½ day to reach West Bengal from Silchar, road connectivity is less and even the climate is unpredictable here the funniest part is I have experienced all 3 seasons in a single day, morning it was raining at afternoon it was sunny and night I was chilled out
