Remarks :

The environment and surrounding is really very beautiful.It is located near Deepor beel bird sanctuary which makes it more interesting and gives a very sound environment for studies. No there is no negative remark .

Course Curriculum Overview :

All the Engineering course follows the UGC and AICTE regulation Also our college is under NBA accreditation.We have got smart classroom, library and computer centre. Exam has four parts viz sessional , Theory and lab.75% attendance is mandatory for one to sut for end sem exam.

Class Size : 120Course Fees : INR 11700 per year

Placement Experience :

Placement opportunities are available for every pass-out students from each branch.Interviews are conducted right from the pre final semester.Training and workshops are also conducted by T& P cell right from 5th semester.

College Events :

Annual cultural programs and activities are being organised each semester.Starting from freshman, Satynarayan puja, diwali and Christmas to bihu every festival is organised.Annual college festival Pyrokinesis is celebrated in February.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Under the regulation of Assam government and DTE we need to take admission for which an amount of 12,400 is collected as miscellaneous and tution fee. BPL family students get relief from the tution fee.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

There are a lot scholarships based upon different categories namely Ishan Uday under UGC, NEC by DTE assam , OBC ,SC & ST scholarship, scholarship for minority communities etc. One can apply under some eligibility criteria.

Campus Life :

Gender ratio in engineering colleges have always been an issue, our college has girl to boy ratio as 1:7. Though we have one girls hostel against 7 boys hostels gender equality is maintained in every aspect. We have Student union for which every students is given the opportunity.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostels are available for students with all they basic facilities with a very feasible amount.Water facilities are available all the hours, Mess food is edible and healthy.Girls hostels have security guards.

Hostel Fee : INR 20400 per yearExternal Expense : Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna :

We all are connected through social media platforms like facebook linkedin which helps us to keep in touch with the alumni from all over the world.We invite them in annual cultural programs and workshops.

Admission :

I got admitted under the entrance exam qualifying criteria. Commom entrance exam is being conducted every year in the momth of may for which any student who has completed HS with science stream can appear provided he is Assam domicile.For students of other states admission is taken on the basis of JEE exam.

Faculty :

Only professor from with specialization in particular subject takes the classes.Faculties are available all the time for any kind of help. Regular lecture hours start from 8 am to 5 pm including labs and seminars. We can reach out to professors for doubt clearance.

The placement scenerio is quite good in the campus. Most of the studemts gets placed from on-campus placements, around 80-90%. Also the packages are also satusfactory. The computer science engineering course is good enough and the teachers will make you understand well but there also some teachers whose lectures are difficult to understand. The students get placement from the final year. The companies are Microsoft, Bandhan bank, HDFC Bank etc. The average package is 8 lakh and the highest package is 26 lakh. The maximum number of students who get placement having a percentage of 60+. I plan to get a job at Microsoft.
