Remarks :
It's more than an average college. Overal it's good and the best part is case study.
Course Curriculum Overview :
There are regular exams. Every 11th session is an exam, aslo there are marks for class participation. They weigh out 100%. There are 15-20 case studies(Harvard case studies) for every subject thats discussed in the class. There are 3-4 tests and class participation that totals to 60% and the rest 40% in the final exam of 100 marks.
Placement Experience :
There are various companies that come for internship as well as placements. Like JP Morgan, Maruti, zenoti, HDFC, BATA, DELOITTE, PWC, KPMG, VEDANTA. etc. I have been placed in JLL, HYDERABAD.
College Events :
There are 30+ clubs and all are of different categories. Each club has minimum of 7-10 events in a year. There are a lot of participants as the college itself has a strength of 1100 people in a batch. The biggest clubs are samavesh(CULTURAL), Team VAPS (SPORTS), KAIZEN( MANAGEMENT) ETC.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
It is an expensive college. Yes the college gives a transparent fee-breakdown. But if we compare the fees and the kind of placements, there is a huge difference. There is an addmission fees of about 80000+ that has to be paid if you want to confirm admission. That is refundable.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
I didn't take an educational loan. But yes the college provides scholarship to students who score 10 CGPA.
Campus Life :
There 4:6 ratio of women is to men. They are from different parts of the country, it's a mixed crowd. The infrastructure for extracurricular is great. There are 30+ clubs in the college both academical and non-academical. Clubs are really good way for personality growth.
Alumni/Alumna :
Seniors of the college are quite helpful. They guide you a lot for placements. Also they help you in academics.
Admission :
I gave NMAT in December and got applied for IBS. I got an interview call for 24th February. The interview was through that included General knowledge, academics, personality test etc. I cleared the interview with 95 percentile in the list that came in April first week.
Faculty :
7-9 subjects a semester. 4-5 classes a day. 1 hour 15 minutes of classes with 10 minutes break b/w them. Most of the faculty have industry-experience. They share their experience and it makes the lectures interesting. But there are some who don't have industry experience.
