Remarks :

The college has high placement records. The teachers have good teaching style. They are hardworking. The hostels provide good quality food and are clean. It has the larger alumni base than any college in Odisha. The seniors are a bit cocky but they become your friends pretty soon.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The syllabus is vast but the teachers teach well. I was provided with 2 internships during the summer vacation. The facilities are very nice and teach well. They also provide good notes and references.

Class Size : 60Course Fees : INR 1 per year

Placement Experience :

Around 90 percent of the students get placed in-campus. And there are also off-campus opportunities. Most of the visited companies are IT. But there are also a lot of core companies. If you work hard you can get placed in some of them.

College Events :

Every year cultural and tech fests are organised and we had a blast. Performers usually are from within India only but the fun is out of the world ;). You get to participate in alot of fun activities too.

Campus Life :

The campus is clean, lab equipments are adequate, the library has a huge collection of books, WiFi and air conditioning. The campus also has WiFi provided by Jio. The computer labs are well maintained.

Placement Experience:

From the 7th semester students become eligible for campus placements where they have to show their skills to the interviews in order to get placement. The name of the companies visited are Infosys, Oracle, Dalmia, Tata. The average package the companies give is around 3 to 4 lacs. My plan after getting the degree is to already settle by getting a placement.

According to seniors , placements are good and decent comparing to other nits . After 6 semester , company are hiring for placements . Many companies has visited more than enough . Highest package I seen in 23 is 1.12 CR in rubrik from senior . My plans after degree is doing sde job at company.

Reality of GIFT college

Placement Experience:

Placements! Once upon a time in year 2016-17 Amazon, Oracle etc used to come... Now all are just less paying startups who select for 3,4,4.5 lpa on average Yeah some get 9-10lpa if they are really good, opportunities are always there for good students, but not more than this... If you're dreaming a 13,15,20,50lpa package, don't wake up, it's not possible in real life here (atleast till now)

This college provides a good environment for professional study. I got alloted to the college through my entrance mark so i chose it. It was my dream to study Electrical engineering but i didn't got the branch in any other college and i got the department over here so i thought it would be better to study here

Various companies visit our campus for recruitment. Among those companies the name of some big companies are TATA, INFOSYS, ACCENTURE, JINDAL, LNT. For being able to sit in the interview for any campus a student must have scored a minimum of 7 cgpa and must have good communication skills. In my knowledge there is no big startup by our batch.
