Remarks :

Got good research facilities actually have some advanced research instruments like XRD, UV visible spectrometer etc as I mentioned earlier, in a word you could say teachers are not matured enough should I add young teachers i couldnt say we dont go beyond

Entrance Preview :

JAM 2014 scored marks 14 entrance exam by university of Kerala marks scored around 50-55 admissions based on rank list, which is based on the sum of the marks you score on the entrance exam and the mark of B.Sc.

Course Curriculum Overview :

There is an Open course in which you can opt to study any other disciplines I took geology as for other electives, I should say they are not "ELECTIVE" though those papers are titled as one, you would not be able to choose what you want, as there isnt any list of papers that you could choose.

Internships Opportunities :

Dont know of any companies that came in, nor do I know about stipend for internship i think I should add the fact that I'm not in a professional college we pursuit science we have a lot of research students In our compound itself, there is Govt engineering college there you have several internship.

Placement Experience :

Again I should say none as a part of International year of light and light based technologies, A VINVISH technologies came to our department to display the frontiers of their technologies and discussed the opportunities that they provide apart from that, no Placements are done.

College Events :

Each department conducts their on seminars past year several depts hosted International Seminars dept. of Lingustics, Dept. of Malayalam, Dept. of Economics right now an international seminar is going on in Mathematics department we ourselves had a national seminar past year apart from these, College union conducts arts fest, sports meet etc also several department host Inter-college fests, like COSMET-2015, which is an ongoing fest hosted by dept of computer science.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Fees are nominal as we are in a govt college, it is to be expected around 2000rs per semester and additional lab fees are to be paid reservation category is free from these.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Nothing I know of i myself have INSPIRE scholarship some of my friends have other scholarships offered by central govt and son on.

Campus Life :

I dont know about MBA AND BBA students as for others the gender ratio goes like 7:1 girls : boys workshops are hosted by each departments and are pretty good recently many inter disciplinary workshops are also done as students are either Doing PG or Mphil or Research, Students dont tend to get a lot time for political matters no gender or religious problems are heard of we are free to sit anywhere with anyone irrespective of race, gender, religion college library is open till midnight security also functions well enough the college atmosphere is very calm inside the campus there is a pretty sized pond, and some spinneys.

Hostel Facilities :

I'm a day scholar, So no first hand reports on that matter but from what I hear, the charges are nominal food is good rooms are not bad either.

Alumni/Alumna :

Department alumni is not strong enough recently teachers and students are moving on to reactivate our alumni associations research students are very helpful our seniors passed out was helpful.

Exam Structure :

We have internal assessment exams, lab exam and quite a lot of seminars and assignments in face we are immersed in it and all these does leave us a hectic day of-course as each department is working something like autonomously, teachers have greater contr

Faculty :

We have four permanent teaching staffs and 3 non teaching apart from that we have visiting professors and guest lectures permanent teachers are qualified enough, but not matured enough.

Placement Experience:

Students are given internships and those who excel well in the internships often get placed in the same company. Sometimes placements are clashed for both Science and Engineering students and the better one gets placed. Many startups prefer our college and our Dean has link with many startups. Based on the core companies, several core companies are seen here and on average 12LPA is the salary and mostly every student gets placed here and I will do my phD after this course and Im not into getting placed. unilever biocon bharath biotech sunpharma these are the big giants that took students with good package

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum is much dry and old class. I was interested in Environment studies and that made me choose this department. But when it comes to real world application, we are not prepared. But the accessibility and availability of lab equipments are impressive and appreciative. Teaching methods needs to be much more interesting and effective. Exams are conducted with only one day break in between, which is exhausting. But their difficulty level is moderate.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The syllabus covers almost all the topics that are important for a pg student. It's a bit tough for the sometimes but books from the library contain all the books that can help students to learn deeply about the topics The faculties are really outstanding. They are always so kind and helpful. They cover the whole syllabus within time and were ready to repeat the portions again and again. They never pressurize or insulted students. There have associate professors, assistant professors, and guest lectures. Semester exams are not so easy but if you are ready to learn a topic to its depth then you can score a good mark.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was interested in Physics, and I want to pursue Ph.D. in physics. That's why I choose MSc Physics. All most of all faculties are Ph.D. holders and qualified NET lecturership. Most of the teachers take classes using multimedia presentations, Seminar session was allotted for us to improve our teaching abilities. The semester exam was conducted every six months and the result was published within one month after the exams. In my batch students were passed all semester exams.
