Yes it's more of theoretical stuff. No practical. Industry is far different and it's doesn't match with reality. So you have to be smart enough to take part in extrac circular activities and go ahead as this industry needs a change and so does the system but it will take time

College Events

We do have sports event college wvent. Everything which most of the college's have however it's a different story sports day and all the other thing it's more or less same in every college. What to tell more it's same everywhere. Money speaks at the end of the day

Yes it's is. How can we fill 259 characters man. It's a torture. However 500 rs Yes it's ok anyhow I have spend 15min let me go ahead. Guys you are damn rich man. If I could have some funding I would have grown our atartup for sure. Any ways there is nothing hidden about fees

Parties are not there. Kerala culture. Different people have different styles can't help it out so itsvok they live to their traditions. Everything is there it depends on people choice. All are keralaities and they want to complete engineering. So they go ahead

Hostel Facilities

Again 200. Better to stay alone as you can actually live the way you want too. And especially food. It's worst in hostel. However that is also an experience so ya kind of depends on personal thought and experience

No they are too busy with their stuff. Can't blame them too so it's just like that only we can't help it out

Admission

Through kerala entrance. You have to write an exam and then you got short listed and you join the college. Every University has the same process. you need be an origin of Kerala for smoother entry and engineers are there all around. That's it so the journey started

Faculty

They are good enough. However as professor are less they also have shortfall of skills they are just passed out and they learn the sibhy and teach us again that happens with every industry so ultimately it depends on the individual itself how he makes himself

Companies like Oracle, Goldman Sachs, L&T, Bajaj, Caterpillar and PSU's like BEL,HPCL and BPCL come to the college usually the coding companies offer aroung 35-40 LPA CTC and the core PSU companies offer around 17-18 LPA. Highest Package is 51 LPA and an Average Package of 12 LPA. Nearly 85% students from Circuit and CS branch get placed and around 60% in core branches who sit for placements, My plans after getting the degree is to join MBA to learn how business world works and how the money flows

College Of Engineering Munnar Diaries

I applied to all government engineering colleges and government controlled engineering colleges in Kerala. In government controlled colleges, I gave first preference to the College of Engineering, Munnar. My KEAM rank was 31247. I didn't get allotments to any other government colleges because my rank was low. I got merit allotment in my college through the caste(OBC) quota. If our rank is less than 33000 in KEAM, you can definitely get merit allotment in the College of Engineering, Munnar. But one thing to remember is that there is only a small number of student intake. Age is not a problem. The admission process was super easy. Just went to college with an allotment slip and the required paperwork which is informed by CEE Kerala and remitted the fees. Tuition fee is 35000 per annum for merit seat and total including extras like association fee, art fee etc it became 55000 for the first year only....Read More
