Remarks :

Overall, I must say this is the college everyone wish for. It has good campus, expert teachers, good recruitment, lower fees, motivational events and many more benifit. I recommend this college to many students.

Course Curriculum Overview :

M.Tech in Environmental Engineering is basically research driven course. The 1st year of college has 10 subjects which are mostly related to actual problems we are facing in outer world. The 2nd is totally based on the research and has a potential to identify the actual issues we are facing. The course offers more practical approach and offers great success rate in tackling the Environmental issues. Most of the students opted for industry based issues those are impacting the Environment. Overall its great course with more practical view.

Class Size : 18Course Fees : INR 40000 per year

Placement Experience :

As it is one of the well know college, it has great opportunity for placements. Computer, IT, Environment these courses have most rate of placement. College also offers internship as a part of course which is compulsory for all students. In my course, I opted for 1 month internship at CETP in MIDC area. College gas around 60% placement rate.

College Events :

Pioneer, Ebullienza 2019, MERAKI, these are few well known events I remember. There are other events also in all categories like culture, technical, sports etc. These events help student to boost the extra curricular activities. More opportunities to learn something new from everyone is one of the best output according to me.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The College offers lowest fee for my PG course in entire state. It was only 40k per annum whereas other Colleges charge around 1 Lac. The fee is quite justified because college has all the infrastructure needed for the course. Yes, it offers complete transparency in fee structure and also offers installment payment for students. There are no additional charges for securing any seat. Its totally transperant and according to government rules.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

No, I didn't opted for any loan or scholarship. However education loan and scholarship both are available for this college.

Campus Life :

The college has really nice campus. Campus has good greenery and has more natural construction. Also it has around 50% gender ratio with a big sport event every year. Robotics is also part of Pioneer named event. The college offers admission to all religious people and has complete transparency in the process. The college has all the trustees from Industrial background which I think is the best part. It offers great opportunity for recruitment. There are no political involvement in the college, is another good thing about this college.

Hostel Facilities :

No, I am local student. However, the college has both boys and girls hostel with good security. For PG in surrounding area around 2000 Rs per students are charged for living which includes high speed internet. Food has to opted for extra money.

Alumni/Alumna :

Yes. College arranges regular alumni meets and also webinars. It helps get connected across the world with our batchmates and seniors.

Admission :

I got the admission from GATE entrance exam. KIT college is an autonomous institution. Its os one of the well known and oldest college in our state. College has expert teachers and good recruitment results. I opted for M.Tech Environmental Engineering. This PG course has vast opportunities im current scenario. This is the course that world actually needs now. Working towards sustainable development is one of the aim of course.

Faculty :

KIT college is one of the oldest and well known college because of its teaching expertise. College has minimum PG criteria for all the teachers, However most of them are Phd holders. Some of the facilities are from industrial background which helps the student to learn more practical issues.

The main reason I got admission in thermal engineering is that was my favorite subject in engineering, the faculties are good at their experience and help students with their knowledge as faculties are Ph.D. holders n some are pursuing Ph.D. All things like papers are conducted timely and it's moderate to difficult exams were sets for students to enhance their potential.

I got live in new life after take admission in IIT bombay

Placement Experience:

IIT Bombay in M.Tech students are eligible in 3rd semester for campus placements. If you want to study hard then you will be placed in 3rd sem. In our college top recruiting companies visit every year like Mahindra Aerospace, rolls Royce, airbus, godrej aerospace, Larsen Turbo, etc., and also got placed in Larsen and Tubro. My annual salary is 9lakh. The highest package is 3.67 crore, the average package is 23lakh and the lowest package is 10lakh. 89 percent of students get placed every year.

Overall Experience in VNIT

Placement Experience:

The placement of VNIT is very good. The average package for CS & IT students is 12LPA. But for core branches, the average package is quite low around 6LPA. Core branches MTech students rarely get placed in core fields. Most of them step into banking and IT companies. The highest package offered by banks is 12LPA, and by IT companies is 30LPA. My plan after getting this degree was to go for higher studies.

Legacy of churning expertise through extensive knowledge

Placement Experience:

Placement of the college is very good. NXP Semiconductor, Synopsys, microchip, micron technology marvel semiconductor are coming for placements. And we have a decent package average of 14 LPA .even if student Don't get jobs from placement off campus we have very records in every MNCs like intel, Synopsys, NXP , St microelectronics. On an average 60% students are getting placed with decent package

Engineering is fun when loaded with annual fests and various fun events every month

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester itself. Students have to maintain over 60% to be eligible for placement for most companies. However students with less percentage will get placement opportunities, it will be fewer. Overall, 80% of students approximately got placed and could be better. Maybe affected due to the Pandemic in India. The highest salary touched was 10 lakhs while the average was 3.5 lakhs per annum. MNCs like TCS, L&T, Capgemini, Jio visited the campuses and offered over 200 offers combined. I will be pursuing a Masters further after a couple of years of job experience.

This college has good placement records.The teaching faculty also well experienced and good.The college record hundred percent placement for circuit branches.The placement also good for the other branches. The placement cell of the college is very helpful.
