WeSchool is the one.

Remarks :

I have a like whole list of good remarks with it's facilities, working procedures and faculties but some points which bothered me was the canteen and it's good cost and quality and the auditorium space.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Course Curriculum and exam procedures are very systematically driven. They have different departments for the exam handling and the faculty department who design the curriculum. The people involved are well versed and experienced in this area and update the curriculum with their latest observation and research. Yes I would say the institute is well driven in terms of organising exams and other activities and involves the students too to give the practical knowledge to them as after all it's a great platform to start for management students then and there only.

Placement Experience :

Placements of the college, I would say are fairly above average. Though the institute provides great experience and opportunities during the internship and placement duration and good mix of companies are called for every stream and department.

College Events :

We have both the technical as well as Sports events held. The major focus of sports is on Cricket and the event held for it is an annual event at University level. For technical, we have different different activities throughout the year. Hackathon is greatest of all.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Fee structure is feasible as compared to other good management colleges as it lies in the bracket of 11-12 lacs for 2 year program. So it seems fair enough to me for such a good platform. College does provide proper transparency in the fees breakdown for tuition and security fees.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Avaied the loan through SBI student loan policy.and the college also has some scholarships available so students can connect with admin to avail them as well.

Campus Life :

Campus life is good. Great library, great reading room and architecture of college is very student friendly. Gender ration is inclined more towards girls. We have amphitheatre, open libràry, robotics lab, red labs, we don't have playground but we have gyms and indoor sports arena.

Hostel Facilities :

No the hostel facility is not that enough for all students. Its based on first come first serve. So I wasn't able to avail it. I went for private PG as living in flats and the average cost for it was pretty high as of Mumbai City and location. It costed around for 13k for a month for me.

Alumni/Alumna :

Yes, that's the best part of this college. As soon as you enter the college till the time you leave, you fell connected to your seniors whether they have already left the college. They are always ready to help and share experience and guide you. Even we have an aluminum comittee for this to help you with contacts of college seniors and alimini.

Admission :

With my percentile for CMAT exam,I chose Welingkar Institute with going through its feedback from other students and relatives, online reviews and also with it's Ranking as top 5 management institutes in Maharastra. Also I did some study over their learning methodology which I found very unique for their delivery of knowledge in a design thinking manner. As a part of admission procedure, I filled it's form and was called on the basis of my rank in cmat entrance exam and with my past performance and work experience. I sat for it's GD PI program and cleared the stages. My extra curricular activities have me an edge too as they carried extra points. So that's how I cleared through the hurdles and started with my 2 years journey of Management program.

Faculty :

The institute has a great mix of in house and external faculties l. All are very well processional as well as friendly In their own way. The institute and the faculties majorly focus on providing practical and industrial experience rather than mugging through the bookish knowledge. They focus on idealizing the students for their creative and design thinking.

From trimester 4, students are eligible for placements. Every year, top pharmaceutical corporations pay visits to institutions. Pharmaceuticals, medical devices, market research, consulting, IT healthcare verticals, diagnostics, medical communication, nutraceuticals, and other related healthcare sectors are just a few of the industries where students might find work. Sales, marketing, business analysis, project management, client servicing and business development, international marketing, and operations are among the job profiles they pursue. Every year, the most expensive bundles change. Companies give PPOs to high-performing employees.

Placement Experience:

There is a summer internship after the first 3 trimesters where companies come for interviews and roles depend on the company that selects you. It is for 2-3 months usually and is compulsory ie a part of the curriculum to complete to qualify for the degree. Same for final placement, interviews begin after the 4th trimester is done. More than 50 companies came to campus for final placement and highest package given was 11.2 lakhs and average was 8.8 lakhs which depended on the company and the job role. Roles are offered for consulting, IT, media, manufacturing and banking and finance roles of HR Generalist, HR Business Analyst and Talent Acquisition. Companies such as Godrej, IndusInd bank, TCS, Zee, Meru, Capstone, etc were the prominent companies for the final placement. 100% placement was achieved for the HR specialization.

Students sit for their Summer placements from the 2nd Trimester onwards. NM has a trimester system. A total of 181 companies visited the campus for the Summers of 2020-22 batch. 28 of them were from Fortune 500 companies and 90 new recruits. The total number of offers made was roughly 650-700 and still counting. The highest stipend was 3 lakhs and the average stood at 1.2 lakhs. Top 50 offers clocked an average of 2.48 lakhs. The different profiles for which the companies came were IT analytics, Consulting, E-commerce, BFSI, FMCG, FMCD, Retail, Pharmaceutical, Media & Telecom, Logistics, oil, and gas, etc. NMIMS Mum has 100% placement records. After doing my MBA I plan to go back to Corporate and learn and implement at the workplace. Thereby have self-growth and also bring revenues to the company.

They do have a placement committee. Most of my classmates are already placed at top-notch brands and agencies through the placement cell. Post 9 months, we have to do a mandatory internship to get hands-on experience of the industry life and work culture.
