Course Curriculum Overview :

Course curriculum will be divided into 4 semesters. Each semester will be having 7 papers including fieldwork. All are credit based. Fieldwork is the most practical component which is used to gain more knowledge about the subject. Rural camp and study tour and counselling sessions are important in fieldwork.

Placement Experience :

During the year 2011 when I have studied, our college placement cell has arranged a campus interview with the partnerships of 8 trust, companies and hospitals. In our batch totally 48 of them selected in this campus interview out of 50 members.

College Events :

Pongal day will be celebrated in a grand manner, Founder day will be celebrated, Christmas and community day will be celebrated. Alumni association day will be celebrated. Freshers day and the farewell day will be celebrated. Inter department culturals will be conducted.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Management cotta will be expensive. Aided cotta will have a reasonable fees structure. In management cotta, donation fees will no be collected. But in the aided donation is not there. And also in aided community-based seats will be provided. In aid, govt fees structure will be collected.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

No. I didn't get any loan. But I received a scholarship from alumina. As well as college faculties also supported my education.

Campus Life :

No gender bias, all will be treated equally inside the college campus. Each department will have four seminars and two conferences as a part of the curriculum. We have a Sports department at our college. By that, we will go to inter-college sports competition.

Hostel Facilities :

I am a days scholar. But the hostel facility is there in our college. Rooms will be neat and clean. Food will be provided for all. Girls and boys hostel are separated. Timing for the food will differ for girls and boys.

Alumni/Alumna :

Yes. Seniors are too useful. They helped us in studies by giving their books and notes. Also, they helped by paying fees for some students who and all from a very poor background.

Admission :

Initially, the entrance exam was conducted. Second group discussion. Finally, a personal interview will be conducted to select a candidate in the admission process and dates will posted on the college website. Usually, the entrance exam will be conducted at the month of May.

Faculty :

Faculties are too friendly and cooperative. They will help us to gain more knowledge in fieldwork by staying with us in rural camps and study tour and Nss camp as well as counselling centres and hospital settings. They will help us to solve our doubts regarding subjects at any time through a phone call.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Social work course helps to get knowledge about society, family, culture, and communities. So I decided on Social Work. To improve fieldwork skills and knowledge which is lacking of skill so after completion of college facing difficulties. The faculties are good.

They have arranged a campus interview in the middle of the fourth semester. Batch students half of the students got this opportunity. The package was good. Nearly 65 % of students got this opportunity. After the graduation, I moved to work.

Placement Experience:

From 3rd semester students become eligible for campus placement. You have opportunities to get placed in various companies after completing this course. You will be visiting 'n' a number of companies during your course of study. You can also approach those companies for jobs. Also, you can ask help to your faculty to get you placed in a better job. The average package for this course will be 3 lakhs per annum.

The last semester which means the final year students have been going for the placement in this placement conducted in my college and conducted by many developing companies. A particular percentage of students only have to attend the placement. After my degree, I want to work with a community development organization.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am very interested in my higher education and I am very much interested in field exposure so I choose this course. The relationship between faculty and students is very good and such a useful one in this institution and this course and the students have a good rapport with the faculty members. Faculty members are highly experienced and good knowledge people. The teaching method is mostly discussion and lectures. It's very easy to pass this course with the best guidance.

The faculty are very soft in nature, guide us, and encourage us in all our activities. In MSW more practical knowledge we will get. Practically we will be working with people in the community. Exams are easy, learning should be there in each day's class then only we can pass the exam.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In terms of punctuality, I will say it deserves 1000 out of 100, term exams are on time as well result. It is moderately difficult. There will be 40 marks allotted to internal which includes assignments and analytical tests and the other 60 marks are allotted to term examination.

They have a separate placement center & also provide placement training in collab with TCS. Mostly 80% have been placed in my class, where some opt for higher studies. even I placed within a month and started with a package of 2.8 LPA & highest of 5 LPA in degree.
