Remarks :

One of the main remark is we dont have any students union to represent the problems of the students to management.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The Curriculum is okay.nkt better like other universities.It is more based on the theories rather than the practicals and the projects. Actually we don't get much time for practicals and the sems are looks very short.So personally i dont like these kind of curriculum.

Class Size : 120Course Fees : INR 90000 per year

Placement Experience :

Placements are good and for each year the placements graph is increasing. Last year on an average the students in our college got average placement of 3.5. So it looks so good and many companies are coming for the placements

College Events :

We have tech fests which is based on technical events. We have intra college arts fest for our students and also have inter college arts for all colleges in kerala.The inter college fest is the biggest fest in our college and most of the colleges in kerala participate in that

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Fee is okay. We have different fee structures. For a merit students the fee is about 45000 per year and for non merit students it is about 90000 and for management quota students it is nearly 1.2 lakh per year.Some of the students will be selected for scholarship and they dont have to pay any fees so we can say it is feasible

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Actually i haven't opted for scholarship or any ither educational loans. The college offers scholarships to the merit students

Campus Life :

Campus life is okay. College has good space and infrastructures and facilities. Gender ratio is okay and its about 2:1. There is no politics in the campus and we have so many labs. One of the main attraction is fabrication lab and mobile fab lab. And we have a super computer inside the campus and 3 storey library

Hostel Facilities :

No i haven't opted for hostel.But the hostel rooms are quiet nice and we have two separate hostel for men and women inside the campus. And there are lot of rooms available. The rooms are always clean and they provide mess for the food

Hostel Fee : INR 50000 per yearExternal Expense : Rs.4000 - Rs.7000

Alumni/Alumna :

We have so many seniors they are working abroad or many other reputed companies.They are very interactive and helpful in the case of the campus placement

Admission :

Iam into electronics so i choise ece and sone of my friends suggested fisat for that.After completing my higher school i mean plus two. Then a thought about going for electronics and communication engg.Then i wrote the KEAM entrance and secured a good rank then got into fisat

Faculty :

Faculties are okay. They are not great. But some of them are nice. Most of then are in the age limit of 30 to 55 and all of them have specialization in their field related to electronics.But most of them don't have any kind of industrial experiences.so they are morre focused on theories.

Placement Experience:

NIT Cailcut-The Good,Bad and the Ugly

Placement Experience:

Students can apply for campus placements by the beginning of the 4th year.High paying companies are attracted by the placement cell which offer good packages to the students. The average packages for the circuital branch are pretty high. Each year about 200 companies are invited. The highest package for Electrical and Electronics has gone upto 38LPA with average package of about 14LPA in the graduation year 2024.About 128 students had registered out of which 120 students were placed.The minimum salary offered was 5LPA.

Is engineering here worth it?

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from 7th semester to sit for interviews. The pod.ai app helps us in making the resume and calculating a cgpa to appear for the intwrviews. The pod.ai registration fees is 500?. Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA
