Remarks :

It is the best institution for commerce in Punjab region. It has A++ grading from NAAC . It is one of the premium institution in the northern region. I have done my graduation from the same college and I am very happy with the faculty and atmosphere of the college.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The faculty of our college is thebest .They provide an atmosphere where we can learn and grow. Events are organized in the college. Placements are also fine in the college but maximum are for sales department.

Class Size : 60Course Fees : INR 29800 per year

Placement Experience :

Many big companies visit our college like amazon, eclerx, deloitte etc. The placements are done using a proper protocal . The placement department head is very nice and cooperative. They help student very efficiently and effectively.

College Events :

Every year a lot of events are organized throughout the year. Various seminars, SDMUN, PANACHE, VIRASAT ETC. Are organized on a large scale. The college has also hostes youth festival. There are lots of opportunities in every field -singing, dancing etc.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The college provide various scholarships to the students . Based on the current marks, 12th marks, categories, EWS. You have to apply to the scholargsio department and one interview is conducted and then you can avail the scholarship.

Campus Life :

The campus is big of the college. There are 4 departments, differently named. There is a huge auditorium . There are 3 grounds . Overall the infrastructure is very good. There is proper parking space and cleanliness.

College and worth it

Course Curriculum Overview:

As i am interested in commerce thats why i chose bcom hons in management studies due to merit i git admission in that collehe also i was top amongest all colleges under panjab University chandigarh, their was semester wise exams , unit tests , practical exposure also i am pursuing mcom from university itself correspondence as i m also pursuing company secretary. But only bcom hons cannot get me job thats why everbody is doing something like ca , cs , cma proffesional courses or banking , finances etc. College should provide internships opportunities , job placements etc they should do more work on that , only for graduation purposes everybody is doing it.

Mehr chand mahajan college is the best college.

I have choosen this course because i have done bcom and i have to do masters so mcom is a better option . In this course student ratio is also very less so its better to communicate with teachers and students also.. Qualification for this course is must graduation done. Teaching method ia very superb of this college . Timely exams are after 6 months and its not so much diffucilt to pass out the exams because teaching is very good..
