Remarks :
The college is very nice. The campus is very happening for students. The faculty is very qualified. The placement opportunites are good. It is a good experience overall.
Entrance Preview :
CET (Panjab university) I scored the fifth position and this is the best college under Panjab University.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum is very informative. The teaching is from scratch so that the basics are clear. The course structure starts from the very basics and then the level is increased with each semester. The study pattern is very helpful and informative. It is of great help for the students.
Internships Opportunities :
The college provides internships if applied for. The students can take a NOC from the college and intern with any company. The stipend depends on the field if the internship the student is pursuing.
Placement Experience :
The placements and job opportunities are very vast. Every year a large number of companies come for the recruiting the students of the college. Reputed companies are invited by the college for hiring the students and every year a huge amount of students are placed from the college.
College Events :
All festivals are celebrated in the college. The college holds MUN's as well. There are annual sports meets held by the college. College elections also take place every year on a very large scale. Annual days are celebrated in the college too. Dance and singing competions, blood donation camps, debates etc are all held in the college campus.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
The fee structure is very feasible. I paid Rs. 19000 for my course for the entire year. And for the second year it was Rs. 18000. The fees is not at all too much. It is very much affordable for the students of all family backgrounds. It is extremely economical. In addition to this, for each of the four semesters a minimal exam fees is to be paid.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The college provided scholarships for those in need of it. Students who are from extremely poor families are granted scholarships.
Campus Life :
The campus life is very interesting. Something or the other keeps on happening. Various events take place. The gender ratio is equal. There are various types of dances, theatre, sports, etc. The college participates at all levels and secures positions as well. The extra curricular activities are given as much importance as studies.
Hostel Facilities :
The hostel for both boys and girls is on campus only. The hostel facilities are extremely good. The fees is around Rs. 66000 per year including food, wifi and all other expenses. All three meals plus snacks and milk for two times is included. The food is way above average. The rooms are spacious. All festivals are celebrated.
Alumni/Alumna :
The alumni network and senior students are in touch with the college though not much help is there in terms of placements and job offerings by them.
Exam Structure :
The exam structure is extremely simple. There are four units and internal choice is given in each unit. The students can take help from the previous years question papers. They are extremely helpful and provide an idea as to how the paper pattern is and how to attempt the examination. There are short questions as well.
Admission :
I gave a written entrance test which was held at the main university campus of Panjab University and then waited for the results. After the results were declared, i went to the college on the date provided by them for reserving a seat by paying the fees on the spot. The classes started in mid of July.
Faculty :
The faculty of the college is very very qualified and helpful to the students. They are very regular and of great support to the students. From providing study material to delivering lectures, they are very helpful and very easily accesible. The faculty is extremely student friendly and available always.
