Remarks :
As I said, it is the finest college of the city with no complaints at all. Cant really say enough words to praise the college. It was excellent in all aspects, library, ramp, rooms, board rooms, teachers, students everything was great.
Entrance Preview :
It was on basis of merit list, marks obtained in graduation i was a part of the merit and got the admission.
Course Curriculum Overview :
It was a complete management course, with subjects on HR, marketing, finance, practical Interactions, case studies, presentations industry visits and interactions were regular features.
Internships Opportunities :
I did my internship at diplast plastics and can and able event management at can and able, I got stipend of Rs 3500 per month we were prepared to find our own companies.
Placement Experience :
At that time their was no placement cell, though we were well prepared to face interviews and prepare our CVs. All my batch mates including myself were well placed in Banks and Service Industry with a decent starting package of 3 - 3.5 Lakhs. All of them have now reached to senior positions with package of 10 Lakh plus.
College Events :
Management fest, fresher, farewell, lohri, youth festival. I was incharge for most of the activities, some of them were really huge with 40 to 50 colleges participating.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
Very feasible and affordable, less than 30000 for the entire course for 5 years, B.Com and M.Com with no compromise on infrastructure, merit, sports, auditorium excellent facilities that can not be availed anywhere at such a low cost.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
No their was no such facility as per my knowledge that i can recall loans from banks was an option.
Campus Life :
It was one of the best coed college of the city with awesome campus life their were games, festivals, parties, dance and music regular interactions, picnics, sport activities were happening at the college.
Hostel Facilities :
I have never stayed in a hostel, though those who stayed were given best of facilities, shared rooms and a mess for food.
Alumni/Alumna :
We try to connect but college alumni is not that active, school alumni is ver y active i am part of SJOBA, St jhons school alumni we have regular events and meets as a part of SJOBA.
Exam Structure :
Exam structure was quaterly, with regular reviews and internal assessments. We had open access to labs and refferals and we had to devote 8 to 9 hours in colleges doing various activities.
Faculty :
We have the highly qualified lecturers from the punjab university who act as a mentor for us. They helped us to identify ourselves and our career. With direct training to face the corporate world.
