Remarks

This institute is nearby to my home city Roorkee. This is the only institute in Uttarakhand that offers mechatronics branch in BTech. This institute is well recognized and good infrastructures.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is good but faculties are not up to the marks. Academics in starting is very good in 1st year but after that, it going to degradation. And some faculties are worst and they don't have any interest in lectures.

Placement Experience

Placement of our institute is not up to the Mark. Placement is about 40 percent. Packages are very low. Well, reputed companies never come to college. Some companies only select the students never send joining letters to the students.

There are two types of festivals are held by institute technical fest that is Dharohar and Second is cultural fest is abhivyakti. Both having both inter and intra events. The gathering is about two thousand.

Hostel Facilities

No, I never opted hostel. Because my home city is about 22km far away from the institute campus. I am regularly daily went to institute by bus or bike. Journey time is about one hour. I started my journey at 8 am.

Hostel Fee: INR 75000 per year

Course Curriculum Overview:

Teachers can teach throgh ppts and online also. Offline teaching is must in college. Attendance is mandatory for all the students. And exams are timing are also okay okay. I choose this course for making my carrer in IT.

the course curriculum of my college provides a decent academics base but lacks modern relevance and industry alignment. ideal for who wants to go for higher education not for who targeting high tech company. the syllabus needs an overhaul with more electives, practical exposure and collaboration with industry experts.

ICFAI Dehradun is quite amazing!!

Placement Experience:

Not just Uttarakhand session or high court law firms but even firms from Delhi and the ones that have pan India presence and are reputed are the ones which provides placements to ICFAI Dehradun students. Still a less number of people are placed from our campus as litigation has been the core of our academics.

There is a placement cell in my college campus headed by Diwakar Das Sir. He is very responsible towards his work and ensures that the deserving students will get placed at good places . I'm not interested in corporate law so I won't be getting any placement form the college . I have other plans for my future .

After completing 3rd year students are offered for internship.From my university, placement offer for Btech students with an average package of 3 to 4 lakh. placement rates vary by program and year ,with some reporting over 70%placement with average salary of 2-3 lakh. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Wipro,Tech Mahindra Etc. About 50-60%students got scholarship. Talking about the top roles that offered are software developer,data scientist and system analyst . After completing my course I,ll try to get on campus placement.
