Remarks :

Government college, Best college for my rank, Good faculties, Good atmosphere, At the heart of the city. Engineering has many scope, i like engineering, third rank for the college in KTU engineering college rank list.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Ya, the curriculum which i experienced is good till now. I am getting much industrial approach. I am getting help from my seniors, teacher and my classmates as well. It is good atmosphere to learn from our college. Indu mam, our maths teacher is the best teacher i have seen yet.

Class Size : 60Course Fees : INR 4200 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Internshala. Performance based internship

Placement Experience :

There are many companies visiting our college. We have a benz training centre at our college. That is called adams. We have less companies only coming. Infosys and other IT comoanies do visit our college and i think only 10-20% gets placed

College Events :

Very well. We have sargam, our arts fest. Aagneya is our techno cultural fest. For aagneya we have a large number of participants from all over the world. We have many technical fests as well. Many student organization conducts fest like '42

Campus Life :

Very less sports facilities. No playing ground. Wi-fi is there, but not for first years, that too with restrictions. Have library, but not that big, labs are too poor. The buildings for some labs are too old as well.

Hostel Facilities :

There is hostel only for girls. Boys has no hostel facility by our college. They have to look for private hostels. For boys, there are many private hostels around college. Some of them are too costly as well. Some home stay are also available.

NIT Cailcut-The Good,Bad and the Ugly

Placement Experience:

Students can apply for campus placements by the beginning of the 4th year.High paying companies are attracted by the placement cell which offer good packages to the students. The average packages for the circuital branch are pretty high. Each year about 200 companies are invited. The highest package for Electrical and Electronics has gone upto 38LPA with average package of about 14LPA in the graduation year 2024.About 128 students had registered out of which 120 students were placed.The minimum salary offered was 5LPA.

Is engineering here worth it?

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from 7th semester to sit for interviews. The pod.ai app helps us in making the resume and calculating a cgpa to appear for the intwrviews. The pod.ai registration fees is 500?. Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA
