Remarks :

It is the Central University apart from that it has very low tution fee compared to other universities and apart from that it has very large green campus and 2 cafetaria, gym and large basketball,tennis and badminton court and this univerities has about 11 schools and disciplines which include 32 departments

Course Curriculum Overview :

Course of mechanical engg. is almost same like anywhere around and it is not enough to provide you industrial knowledge which can be only acheived through internships most the faculty is average neither too good or bad however there are some good faculties around here like Sumit Gupta sir who teaches electrical machines and T.V Arjunan sir( Hod mech), sir has vast knowledge about his subject

Internships Opportunities :

I had an internship at indian railways to get one first of all get a training request letter from your college… now go to railways workshop /shead or any railway industry… submit your request letter in the respective technical training centre of that industry… Most mimportant thing is there nust be someone in that industry who must be your known as he will admit that he know you. You will also need some affedevit type papers. Once all this is done. there are chances that your intership will be finally approved.the final list will include your name. thanks

College Events :

There are various cultural and tech fest organised by various departments throughout the year some of them are Equillibrio( techfest of institute of technolgy) sport fest and many others there are various events going around within 3-5 days from technical to cultural to gaming like counterstrike, nfs, pubg robosoccer, aquabotics, roboterry, robowar and many other menegerial events and cultural programmes

Campus Life :

Whole campus is wifi equipped it has 2 cafetaria a big central library and departmental library which each department has their own and a gymnasium and basketball, tennis, badminton, valleyball court labs around here have sufficient equipments however some deptt have common labs

Hostel Facilities :

hostel facility is decent they allot a single room for 2 mates providing unlimited wifi and basic room facilities like table chair and bed and a locker etc. the rooms are limited however it is easy to get into one with minimal fee of 8000 per annum

It was nice when I went for admission I was very confused related to course but they give me proper time and guidance which I needed then I took btech.they tech us communication skills and take to the lab for further activities they improve student speaking skills .the time for the examination is of 3 hr which is enough for this level

A comprehensive review of Curriculum , academics and life in Rungta college

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have a intrest a in computers and machines thats why i choose the this course. I think the curriculum will not prepares you well for the real world , you have to prepare yourself. They should give the more practical knowledge to students . In every 2 to 3 t=months there is exam or test like class test or mid sem between a semester which is quit tough.

Do know the college properly before joining it

Placement Experience:

placements in this college is not that good , and im from civil branch so im not even going to get placement if i do get its is going to be very low around 2 to 3 lpa. from what i know i think students from 4 th year are only eligibe to seat in placements.Highest ever package i think is around 50lpa which is off campus. very few percentage of students do get placed. My aim after my degree is to give government exams and do something related to farming , agriculture , plantation

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am very interested for choosing mech brach.so, I choose the mech branch in gec raipur. The curriculum is good and the required teachers are also good. Two class test will be taken in each semester each of carrying 20 marks. Generally pyq's are asked in these class test. The exam level is moderate but if you have no preparation you can not pass the exams.

I opted for BE because I want further for the GATE and research programme. Since BE is more theoretical than B. Tech so it helped me a lot in Qualifying GATE. Here Faculty to students ratio is about 1500 to 150000 which means per class of 80+ students is covered by a faculty at least.

Remarks:

As it is clear from its name this is a government institution and that's why it posses some government order like less influence of outer political groups etc, which prevents students from having different habits apart from study.
