Remarks

Just we try to keep our college premises clean but cleansing happens only in weeks and that is also uncertain. so maybe clear campus and more better faculty and infrastructure will be there in future not for me, for my juniors.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Course curriculum is vast and all the exam are descriptive not like in neet UG multiple choice questions, in question paper there are short notes, very long question, long questions, and explain why type of questions. and actually those are research driven. and yeah, teachers are doing their best part for making us a better professional.

Placement Experience

4.5

Actually there is no that type of placement, but after 4. 5 years of study we do our internships. and there are proffesors and housestaffs who help the interns in the wards and also the opds. and yes, due to shortage of doctors in our state or maybe in the country, the job availability is always there.

College Events

3.5

Our college has few events Main college fest-BEATS College freshers-feugo Farewell and convocation for seniors. And due to the pandemic the freshers and fest all the events are postponed and that is highly regretful for us that after the near about preparation the programs got cancelled.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Yes fee structure is feasible. we pay fee in every semester. there in no need of one time payment. and every semester requires 4. 5 thousand rupees. and 2 thousands are taken in case of security purposes at the time of admission. mode of payment is through cash only. I didn't remember anyone paying through online platforms.

Fees and Financial Aid

I have applied for aikyahsree scholarship which is a west bengal government initiative. and it pays around 30 thousand rupees to every eligible students every year.

Campus Life

3.5

Every one is different from eachother. campus is small and there is no such kind of extracurricular clubs through which we can play or get ourselves involved. only indoor games are present. and we play indoor games whenever we get time. but I'm very sad that we don't have a big playground where we can play outdoor games properly.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Hostels are free. in every room, 2 hostelers have to stay and there are 7 washroom for around 60 people in each floor of the hostel. maintenance is bad. students call for maintainance services.

Alumni/Alumna

They say we have to study hard after all you are in a professional course so you have to be your own judge and make up things for yourself. otherwise end of the if you can't cure patients then your study will go in vein and you will be done.

Admission

I got admission through NEET-UG 2018. There was councelling and I had to select colleges in west bengal and I got malda medical College and hospital. and came to collect they took all the varification of documents properly. and then they kept some documents for security purposes. and I got admission.

Faculty

3.5

They are always nice, maybe a little bit busy due to patients and maybe now this pandemic. and our college is closed now. they are always helpful in any kind of issues. they ask if you are going through some trouble aor maybe if you are not doing good in academics, they ask students what's going on. so it's nice that they ask us if they feel like we are in trouble.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well, mbbs is very hard and long term process. You will be bored in 1st year because you cant get real clinical cases. But in Final year, 3rd Prof Part 2, you will get huge pressure. Because there are total 11 subjects, you should study in final year. It is a great burden for all. I'm not satisfied with Nmc curriculum. They are not thinking about students. They are implement their rules in chilled ac room. But they don't know the real scenarios.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is very noble. It gives us the power to heal others. When I was a child, i was impressed by the ability and skills of a doctor. The patient family were treating him like god. So i decided to pursue it because of the amount of respect and wealth we gain. In the real world it helps us to become a good person, interact with the injured society and connect to the people emotionally. Teaching methods could be improved by giving more and more real life examples and exposing to the wards and clinics. Learning is more fun when we do more practicals. The college must ensure that more and more practical classes and clinical exposure is given to the students so that they can learn effeciently. The cases of the cirriculum should be given to the students to look how they handle it.

The concept of education is misunderstood my many students. Students want to study in order to make money and become rich so that they can fulfill their wants. Similarly money is invested by parents in terms of the amount of investment it will reap in the future. Because of this reason females are not given much higher education in our country.
