I have enjoyed my 4years and all the staffs are very helpful and friendly.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum is as per west Bengal university. The curriculum is designed considering the present requirement of the industry and keeps on updating. Apart from this professional grooming classes are also available. Labs are well equipped to have good practical knowledge.

Class Size : 55Course Fees : INR 75000 per year

Placement Experience :

Very nice. Major recruiters are cognizant and Infosys which employees more than 90% of the student. I got an offer from both these companies. Apart from these many other companies are part of the placement process.

College Events :

Annual Fest. Annual cricket, basketball, badminton, football, tt etc tournament. in the annual fest dance, singing, robotics competition are held in which students from other engineering colleges also compete. Annual coding competition is also held for computer science student.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Feasible. The fee structure is very reasonable when compared to others. Payment accepted are cash, online payment, cheque, dd. There is complete transparency and there are no separate admission fees required. Only the name on the merit list is enough to get admission.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Yes. I have opted for the scholarship provided by the college itself if we get more than 90% and parents annual income is in BPL.

Campus Life :

Approximately gender ratio is 1:3. The well managed workshop is there and in saying that there is no discrimination based on gender, race, religion etc. This is a Christian college and has very high moral and ethical values.

Hostel Facilities :

Yes. Its private hostel which has tie up with college. The monthly rental is around 5000 including lodging and food. This is typically Bengali PG. Lunch and dinner provided are mostly non veg and of good quality.

Hostel Fee : INR 60000 per year

Alumni/Alumna :

All the alumni and senior are very helpful. Also, there is a session by alumni and senior before campus selection to boost confidence.

Admission :

I got admission in 2007 through AIEEE Exam. 10% seat is reserved for AIEEE and 90% for wbjee. Now instead of aieee pre jee is there. Also, few seats are reserved for the management quota if anything is left after the entrance exam because of not qualifying for the minimum cut off.

Faculty :

The faculty of the college is very experienced and knowledgeable. Most of the teachers are authors of engineering books also and have done their degree from a very reputed institution. All the teachers are permanent teacher and not a guest lecturer. these tutor doesn't take private tuition and is fully committed to the college.

Overall a Standard College; have parallels to its parent college FIEM

Placement Experience:

At the end of the 6th Semester many MNCs and startups like CTS, TCS, Virtusa, Wipro, etc visit our campus for internship opportunities as well as pre-placement offers. Most of the students do crack some or other internship opportunities and get in-hand industry experience. For our batch the highest offer we received is 7LPA and the average package ranges at about 4.5 - 3.5LPA ! Almost everyone does get placed, but the average ranges at about 70%-80%.
