Remarks :
My college is the best in my state. But the location is a little bit isolated so students got a little bit tired at the end of the day. The Bus provided by the college (around 5) is not enough to carry all students. If this is resolved it will be very helpful.
Course Curriculum Overview :
It is placed under the guidance of Mizoram University. The infrastructure is good and there are various activities for every student. Each student can find his/her passion in some way because the infrastucture and equipments are well managed and maintaines.
Placement Experience :
Many Institution and agencies have visited my college (as far as I know). My department organized various fair and seminars even in my time and still did it these days.
College Events :
My college organized Cultural day every year and they also organized the Graduation dinner. And we participated in MZU Sports every year. We also took part in the Inter College Sport organized by Mizoram Zirlai Pawl. These participation and events help in the integration of students.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
Feasible. No additional cost is charged as far as I know it. As we go by Semester, we paid the Semester fee in the beginning (some students who have financial problems even got by without paying and then paid it when they get their scholarship). Our Principal amd his staff have a good understanding of the students.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Yes. Most of the students in my college applied for the Tribal Scholarship each year. The sum we got was usually around 7000 rupees and the hostellers got around 8500.
Campus Life :
The life was somehow awesome. Each department have seperate buidings where they have their seperate laboratory and equipements. The gender ratio in my department was 3:1 while it might be 1:1 as a whole in the collegd bacause many female took their course in Arts stream.
Hostel Facilities :
No. But my friends are in the hostel. They have seperate room and dining hall. There are seperate rooms for Junior batch, Senior batch and Seniormost batch seperately, the fee is just around 800. The hostel seat applicable was around 400 each for boys and girls.
Alumni/Alumna :
Yes the Alumni Association of PUC is well handled as the College was built a long time ago. Many fine politicians and workers of the state are the Alumni member of the college.
Admission :
Because it is the best in my state. As I passed my 12th class. My desire was to take Physics as my core subject. We take out the admission form, fill it up and wait for the lectureres to publist the list of the selected students.
Faculty :
My teachers are good. I took Physics and all my lecturers got Doctorate degree in their field. Our HOD might be the eldest and he is around 55. Others are still in their prime (around 35-45). They are brilliant in their field and they are well trained to teach.
