- I liked that most of the faculty are highly qualified one of my professor graduated from IIT Guwahati and also that the teachers teaching method are very helpful we can go anytime to them if we have any doubt
- I liked that the the college has alot of clubs like chess club, mathematics clubs etc
Dislikes
- The hostel food can be a little hard for outsiders but it is manageable
- It would be good if we had a proper clean the hostel only nothing more the other areas are very clean
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this course because I was interested in this subject physics.The teaching method are good I don't think it needs any improvement it is in the students from here the teacher have done well .The frequency of exam is 1 per 2 months I think
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
I applied here throught the PUCET exam and have paid like Rs5000 admission fee for 1st semester that means it will be Rs10000 for 1 year, I don't think There aren't any Tuition fees monthly apart from the semester fees of Rs5000 all of this include the fees like library,lab ,etc there is no reservations I think as the majority are ST so the fees are same for all l. The scholarship that are currently available here are Ishan Uday and tribal scholarship.The hostel fee is paid per semester it is RS2500 and we also pay message fee of 2500 per month
Campus Life :
The campus life is good there are alot of activities after coming we had college week ( sports week) and then I participated in a integration bee conducted by mathematics club. A few days ago we had book fest. During teachers day different departments had different themes such as bollywood, Hollywood, Emo,goth, etc.The Library is full of book it has a wide variety of books to choose from more than 10000.The campus has a sports complex and indoor to play sports such as football l, volleyball, badminton,table tennis,etc
Hostel Facilities :
In the room we have 1 cupboard, 1 bed, 1 table and 1 chair, in one room. The mean quality average and manageable. The registration is done online in the college website and a interview is conducted they take into account the students marks, family quality. It is affordable as it is only 2500 per semester for hostel and 2500 for message fee per month
Admission :
I applied to this college because it was closest to my home and it ranked 35th in all of India in NIRF that is the only reason I applied to this and didn't even tried to apply to other colleges.The admission process is either through CUET or PUCET in PUCET we gave the exam for the specific subject that we want as major and it is 70% from PUCET exam and 30% from board we can give two major at most
Faculty :
Most of the faculty are highly qualified they have graduated from highly reputed college like IIT Guwahati etc they are nice they will help you in every possible way even financially. The course structure for me Bsc physics it's four years according to the NEP. There the ratio of faculty to student is I think 1:45. The exam system and marking scheme is GPA based I don't know the details There are 2 exams per semester before final and 1 project or seminar. I liked Miss Y Rangeela Devi cause her method of teaching I liked it aot also she is nice
Interview Experience :
I gave a test on physics only as I wanted this subject the topics were from 11&12 I didn't had to prepare too much I just did a quick revision of my 11&12 one dH before the exam and qualified all of the questions are mcqs
